Amelia Clarke felt even more bitter; just imagining that scene was unbearable for her.
She held him tightly, her face buried in his chest.
The more Amelia thought about it, the more she couldn't accept it. When watching the movie, she didn't pay attention at all. At six the next morning, Amelia was woken up by Owen. In a daze, she washed up and had breakfast, then Owen drove her to Plum Hill in the northern suburbs of the Capital City.
Amelia slept the entire way. Upon arriving at Plum Hill, she woke up and looked out from the foot of the mountain, seeing vast stretches of plum forests with no end in sight.
