Owen Moreland curved his lips faintly, a composed calmness radiating from him. He didn't elaborate much, merely saying, "It's not too late to know now either."
With that, he picked up the teacup on the coffee table, took a sip, and continued, "It's getting late. Grandfather, are you interested in sharing a drink or two with me?"
Old Master Collins snorted dismissively, "This elaborate scheme of yours is mainly to avenge Amelia, isn't it? If it weren't for her, I doubt you'd care whether those around us are human or beasts."
Owen Moreland smiled casually. "Grandfather, you jest."
Benjamin Griffin saw that neither of them intended to pay him any attention. Standing up, he stated, "I'll head back for now."
Old Master Collins lowered his head to sip his tea, while Owen Moreland slightly nodded at him. "Take care, Uncle Griffin."
