"It's not as exaggerated as you say. Are you coming or not? If you don't go, I'll go by myself."
"I'll go, I'll go. With you like this, how can I let you go alone?"
"Where are you guys going? I want to go too." Mia Moreland chimed in.
Viola Harris: "We're going to the mall to shop, you coming?"
Mia Moreland: "Perfect, I need to buy a present too, let's go together."
Amelia Clarke: "What present are you buying?"
Mia Moreland smirked and said, "It's Ann's birthday in a couple of days."
"Ann?" Viola Harris glanced at Mia Moreland, then at Amelia Clarke, "Is that the handsome guy in the sketch?"
Amelia Clarke didn't speak; Mia Moreland, uncharacteristically bashful, exclaimed, "Stop talking so much, let's go, it will be dark soon."
Before the last class ended, Owen Moreland had already called to say he would be coming home late. On her way to the school's main gate, Amelia Clarke made a call home telling Emily Collins she wouldn't be back for dinner.
