When she looked up again, the satisfied smile at the corner of her lips had disappeared, and she resumed her pitiful crying face, choking as she spoke:
"Really?"
"Really, stop crying. Take a day off today, and tomorrow we'll go home to meet the parents."
Olivia nodded, her eyes swollen terribly. With Thomas's support, she went to the bathroom to wash her face and then quietly lay down on the bed and fell asleep.
Thomas sat beside her, accompanying her, and thought of the child she was carrying, his child, feeling a surge of excitement.
Thinking about how his mom always talked about wanting a grandchild, he was even more confident that this time, he and Olivia could return to the Smith Family. He would also give Olivia a grand wedding, so she could marry into the Smith Family with dignity and not be laughed at.
