"Edward, do you have any shame left? How much money does Olivia have in her account? Why did you take it? Are you trying to push her to a dead end?"
Thomas glared angrily at Edward, his entire body shielding Olivia, eyes wide open.
Edward smiled indifferently, pointing at Olivia with his chin, and said:
"Wasn't it her who just said she didn't want anything and wanted to return the money in her account to us? The Smith Family's money, even if it's just a penny, belongs to the Smith Family. Why should it go to outsiders?"
He had never been close to Olivia since childhood, so there was no sibling affection, and he wouldn't be swayed by the so-called mother-daughter bond like their mother.
The reason for keeping her around was due to other considerations, but keeping her didn't mean she could still enjoy the treatment of the Smith Family's eldest daughter.
If she liked staying so much, then let her stay properly.
