Olivia Parker crossed her arms, "A twisted melon isn't sweet."
Slightly shifting her body to the side, making room by the door, Jasper Edith glanced at her face with a seemingly teasing smile, "Then I'll just hold on to it, waiting for the melon to ripen."
"Suit yourself, but I must remind Mr. Edith." Olivia shrugged, "It takes two to clap, so you'd better not waste your time."
She lowered her arms and walked towards the door.
As she approached, Jasper suddenly reached out and grabbed her hand, clapping his right hand against her palm.
The sound of the two hands clapping echoed crisply.
Olivia glanced sideways.
The man's eyes held a hint of triumph.
"I can use both hands."
"Childish."
Olivia pulled her hand back and turned to walk outside.
"Olivia."
Kasper Edith called from behind.
Olivia stopped and turned her face toward him.
Standing a few steps above her on the stairs, Jasper looked down at her.
