Kasper Edith sat up and stretched his arms.
The sofa was not spacious, he couldn't even straighten his legs, but that night he slept more soundly and peacefully than any other.
He lifted the blanket from his body and sat up, looking around, but found no trace of Olivia Parker.
"Where's Olivia?"
"Sis Olivia went to work." Osbert Montgomery took out a note from his pocket, "Sis Olivia left this for you."
Kasper Edith reached out to take the note, which was written in neat yet robust handwriting with a few simple lines.
"Heat breakfast in the microwave for thirty seconds, please wash your own dishes after eating, Osbert's luggage is packed, sorry I can't see you off."
He raised his wrist to look at his watch, and it showed that it was almost ten o'clock, remarkably, he had slept for eight or nine hours, a dreamless night until daylight, a first in so many years.
"Ah!" Osbert Montgomery sighed and sat next to him, "It's all over now, we have to move out today."
