"OH, NO," Adelaide shook her head, her speech suddenly speeding up, "According to our rules, the money is non-refundable, so Basil asked me to see if you have anyone else you want to kill. I can help you with that."
"Basil isn't here?" Flossie Wright raised an eyebrow.
"No, he isn't."
Adelaide replied quickly.
This time, Basil just sent her to handle things, hoping to resolve the matter smoothly to avoid additional complications.
There was no intention of cleaning up the mess herself.
"What if I don't have anyone else to kill?"
Flossie Wright continued to ask.
"Well..." Adelaide paused slightly, her smile growing deeper on her face, "So many people tailing you, don't you want to settle that?"
"I've already handled it."
With her arms crossed, Flossie Wright replied lazily.
