With a slight curve of her lips, Flossie Wright tilted her head slightly, meeting Cassie's gaze.
"You think you're done after talking big?"
Cassie asked, pausing after every word, her gaze fixed on Flossie, filled with extreme animosity.
She caught Flossie's weakness and mercilessly pulled it out into the open.

Lifting her eyes, Flossie raised the brim of her hat a bit, and the figures of Cassie and Bonnie Reyes entered her view completely.
"I think you're mistaken," Flossie began casually, "Having you two with me is no different than having a dog. Whether or not I feed the dog is entirely up to my mood."
