The man frowned. This troublesome girl, she hasn't even realized her mistake.
"Let go."
"I won't!"
"Release me!" he roared.
"I just won't let go!" She clung to him tightly, refusing to release her grip. "You're my husband; I can hug you whenever I want!"
As she spoke, she even nuzzled his chest with a playful little movement.
"My husband, you smell so nice! Did you put on cologne?"
"Cut the act!"
He's finally acknowledging me? That's a good sign!
"HEH HEH!" She lifted her face, winking and making playful faces at him. "I'm just going to smile! What are you going to do about it? Hit me? Would you even dare?!"
Kris Cooper gritted his teeth. "You little bastard, let go of me!"
Vera Wave glanced around to make sure no one was there, then rose onto her tiptoes, drawing close to him. "Not only will I not let go, I'm going to kiss you too!"
She pecked him on the chin, then moved in to kiss his lips.
The man kept his lips pressed firmly together, unresponsive.
