Vera Wave shrugged her shoulders.
"The entertainment industry isn't suitable for me!"
The two exchanged a glance, each sighing.
"What a waste of your face. If I looked like you, I would have become a star long ago!"
"Exactly, what a waste!"
The two exchanged a few more remarks, then turned to leave together and resumed their work.
Watching the two leave, Vera touched her face, smiled, and shook her head.
On the table, the telephone rang, and Vera picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Are you Miss Vera Wave?"
"Yes, I am. Who am I speaking with?"
"I'm a journalist from the 'XX.com' entertainment section. Could I interview you?"
A journalist?!
"Sorry, I'm busy."
Vera quickly hung up the phone.
Just as she hung up, the phone rang again.
"Miss Vera, are you really the former heiress of Walter Wave Real Estate?"

"Miss Vera, I am an editor from 'Fashion' magazine. Could you come for a photo shoot?"

After a few similar calls, Vera disconnected the telephone line.
