When Kris Cooper left, Vera Wave had made him swear not to interfere.
"Miss Wave is alone at the hospital now. Are you sure you're okay with that?" Tommy Taylor grabbed his arm, pulling him towards the car. "You go to the hospital and accompany Miss Wave. I'll go check out the situation with the police. I promise I'll keep an eye on them and make sure they find the real culprit!"
As he spoke, Tommy Taylor opened the car door, pushed Kris Cooper inside, and closed the door.
"Take Mr. Cooper back to the hospital."
Kris Cooper, worried about Vera, immediately instructed him through the car window.

"I understand. You can go now!"
