"Really?" Kris Cooper extended his right hand. "Why don't we... try again?"
"In your dreams!" Vera Wave rolled her eyes at him.
The man just chuckled, put away his phone from the table, and pressed the call bell to summon a waiter to order.
After ordering her favorite dishes, Kris Cooper's gaze fell on her small face again.
"How's your job going in the Advertising Department?"
"The preliminary work is complete. We're just waiting on the voice-overs and background music. Other elements are progressing simultaneously, so it will definitely be done before next Monday!" As soon as she mentioned work, a glow radiated from Vera's face. "President Cooper, just wait and see the results. I definitely won't disappoint you!"
He chuckled.
