Anabel Wilton followed Irene Spencer into the Changing Room and spoke puzzled.
"Sister Spencer, why did you ask Kate Palmer just now? She's such a small character, she probably hasn't even met Kris Cooper, how would she know Vera Wave?"
"What do you know!" Irene Spencer rolled her eyes at her, "Kate Palmer is a smart cookie. If I ask about Vera Wave for no reason, she'll surely become suspicious. Don't be fooled by her seemingly polite manner towards me; she's just Ashton's lapdog, treating the Cooper Family as masters. You must never bring this up in front of her, got it?"
Anabel Wilton nodded, "Rowan Nichols is a slippery one. When I asked him, he kept dodging and evading, unwilling to tell me the truth."
In order to find out more about Vera Wave, Anabel Wilton tried everything she could. But up until now, all she knew was that Vera worked at Ashton, in which department... she still hadn't figured it out.
