Silvia Waterborne had just finished comforting Evelyn Peary. They had been rushing about constantly and hadn't even had a proper meal, so Silvia ordered a few dishes.
Evelyn Peary probably hadn't eaten much these past few days either, so Silvia insisted she eat something with her.
As they sat at the dining table, Silvia Waterborne's phone rang.
"'You must have known I just landed, huh?' Silvia Waterborne said, then rolled her eyes. They wouldn't even let me catch a break."
"'Of course,' Maxwell Peary responded, not wasting any more words with her."
"'My in-laws are all in Capital Town. Let's all go to Madgar Pavilion for dinner tonight.'"
Silvia Waterborne was taken aback. She hadn't expected this.
"'I… I don't think it's suitable for me.'"
She was a major Star; nearly everyone recognized her.
Publicly, she proclaimed she would never marry. If she showed up at the dinner table, wouldn't that blow her cover?
"'You should go talk to the old family estate. I… I won't go…'"
