The voice in her ear belonged to Yancy Hastings.
Tears streamed down Fiona Sutton's face. Her chapped lips trembled, but she couldn't utter another word.
Pregnant.
She had found out she was carrying his child only after Yancy Hastings had already sacrificed himself.
If only... If only he had returned safely this time. She would have definitely agreed. Because a long, long time ago, she had sworn to be a good mother. How could a good mother let her child grow up without a father?

The Doctor paused, looking at Fiona's state and the expression on Charles Northwood's face with some bewilderment.
"So, do you want to keep this baby?"
"Yes!" Fiona instantly blurted out. "Yes, of course! Why wouldn't I?" How could I possibly abandon my own child?
