Julia Adams was incensed by Nia Mitchell's words.
"Who are you insulting, Nia Mitchell?"
Her voice rose in anger as she glared at Nia.
Just as a song ended, everyone heard Julia's furious outburst.
"On what grounds are you insulting me, Nia Mitchell? I was just showing concern for you."
Julia pouted, her tone laced with a feigned sorrow, as if her intentions had been entirely benevolent.
But Nia wanted to tear her apart with every word Julia spoke.
If Julia kept this up all day, Nia would definitely lose it.
"I was merely stating the facts. How is that insulting you?"
Nia refused to admit she had insulted her. Even if her words carried a slight barb, she feigned complete innocence.
"Nia Mitchell, you've gone too far!"
Julia was furious. Despite all she'd said, she felt she hadn't gained any advantage.
With this thought, she smiled at Nia Mitchell again.
"Nia Mitchell, as long as you apologize to me, I will forgive you."
