Nia Mitchell found it hard to look directly at the situation. What on earth was going on? Now she seemed to be in the wrong for everything? How come she had never noticed before that these classmates of hers were so… TSK, TSK.

Fine. It was one thing to be pressured into paying, but then she didn't even get any credit for it.
"I never thought that after four years as classmates, you all would turn out to be like this."
Nia Mitchell couldn't help but mock herself, feeling like she had truly failed at being a decent person.
"What are we like then?"
Someone in the group was clearly unconvinced. What was wrong with them? Did anyone force her to treat them? If she had just said she wouldn't, who would have forced her? And now she turns around and says this? She really has no shame.
Everyone felt uncomfortable; they all sat there disgruntled. Even though the meal was expensive and delicious, no one had much of an appetite.
