Chapter 3
The man finished the beer and instantly felt like his stomach was about to explode.
Ryan Gregory moved the dice to the man's side, composed and calm, saying, "You roll."
This was giving him a chance, so the man quickly grabbed the dice to shake it. Just after he shook it but before he had a chance to guess, Ryan Gregory spoke, "How about playing for high stakes this time?"
"High stakes?" The man wiped his cold sweat, pondering what exactly Ryan Gregory wanted to play.
Ryan Gregory saw how nervous he looked and smiled slightly, "Don't be so nervous. Relax a bit. I won't make you gamble with your life; your life isn't worth much, and I don't want it either."
Hearing this, David Gonzales secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
As long as it wasn't about risking his life, it would be fine.
"Then... then... what are we playing?"
The man asked shakily.
