"Her emotions probably haven't fully settled yet. If you go and ask her about the past now, it's like ripping open her wound. It will make her lose control again and might even cause her to lash out and hurt you."
"She just got triggered?"
Sofia Hamilton frowned. Why would she get triggered out of nowhere?
"I need to know—what caused her to be triggered?"
The doctor looked somewhat guilty, as if he bore some responsibility for it.
"Well... it's... this..."
"What is it?"
Under Sofia's persistent questioning, the doctor had no choice but to answer nervously, "It's all my fault. If I hadn't mentioned Aaron Brown earlier, she probably wouldn't have had an episode."
"Aaron Brown?"
Sofia's heart tightened. Could this incident be related to Aaron?
"Yes. Just now, I made a phone call, and during the conversation, I brought up Aaron Brown's name. She suddenly had an episode—screaming and looking very frightened. I think maybe Mr. Brown and she knew each other before."
