Staring at Glades Horne's retreating back for a while, Julia Bluen still got out of bed, put on her clothes, and turned her head to look outside the window. The sun had already shifted toward the west, indicating that evening was approaching. The temperature at this time of day wasn't as high as at noon, and there was a bit of a breeze.
"The little guy doesn't want to sleep anymore." Glades Horne gently rocked his son in his arms, but Ivan looked at him, very alert.
How could one possibly sleep twenty-four hours a day? Julia complained in her heart.
She wanted to take the child outside for a walk.
Perhaps it was telepathy, but just as she thought this, Glades Horne said, "Let's go outside for a walk." Then, he laid the baby back on the bed, got her a pair of sunglasses to wear, and put on a pair of plain glasses himself to hide the sharpness in his eyes.
"I don't like wearing these things." Everything always looked so dark through them.
