Glades Horne saw the two doctors out of the room and instructed Uncle Ying to send them off further before returning to the room himself.
Julia Bluen was half-reclining on the bed, seemingly lost in thought. When she saw Glades Horne come in, she immediately withdrew from her deep contemplation. Glades Horne's deep eyes flickered, his lips barely pursed, and after closing the door behind him, he walked back to the bed with measured steps and sat down in front of Julia.
"It's time for a noon rest."
Having said this, he stood up, took off his suit jacket, then sat on the bed again and removed his leather shoes and socks before finally lying down beside Julia. Once he lay down, Julia naturally couldn't keep half-reclining.
"Glades."
"Hmm."
"It's nothing."
After thinking it over, Julia decided not to say anything.
She would find time after their midday rest to have a deep talk with her mother-in-law.
"You went out this morning, driving by yourself."
