With the surveillance in place, Glades Horne immediately asked Hansen Ruiz to help track down the man's whereabouts.
Hansen Ruiz quickly located the man, who turned out to be the manager of a Night Club with a dark façade. He claimed he was unaware of Adele Horne's identity. After finding Adele, and subsequently discovering she had been drugged with an aphrodisiac, he sold her off as if she were one of the Night Club's hostesses. When asked to whom he sold Adele, he said he didn't know the buyer's identity, only that the man who came to negotiate wasn't the actual buyer but some sort of Assistant. The mysterious male Assistant had purchased Adele from him, and where she was taken thereafter was of no concern to him. After all, she wasn't one of his Night Club's hostesses; he had simply stumbled upon a windfall and made a fortune.
