Chapter 197 - Glaring reality!~Heavy NSFW~

{Hogwarts Express}

{29th June 1991}

{Hermione's POV}

As Rigel slipped out of the room, both she and Harry shared a look before turning to Ron.

"You need to tell Mrs. Weasley about the wand," Harry spoke, his voice firm. She was nodding along, fully on board with that statement. With her newfound knowledge about Ron, his personality was starting to make sense now, why he looked so lazy most of the time.

'If he's exhausting his mana every night to try and master spells, then no wonder he feels lethargic most of the time.' She didn't experience mana exhaustion more than once, but she had read about it in countless books. '...but the books said that overexerting your mana could damage your potential, which doesn't make sense, especially with how Rigel is doing the same thing. He would not do something harmful like that before verifying it.'

"Hermione!" she came out of her thoughts as Harry was waving at her, "back me up here..." he urged, his hand now pointing at Ron.

'Are we still at the wand?' She thought, a little embarrassed about spacing out. "Yes, Ron, you know I read in a book that overexerting your mana could damage your potential to learn higher-level spells as well. So what you are doing, if you continue to do so, might be harmful," she cautioned and diverted the talk a little bit to further emphasize their point as well as cover up the fact that she wasn't really listening.

A flash of concern brushed past Ron's face as he leaned forward, "What do you mean that I could harm my potential to learn higher-level spells?"

'Did he really dive headfirst into this kind of routine without checking or reading about it?' She resisted the urge to roll her eyes and explained, "According to the book, Mana and You by Martina Gibra, while mana exhaustion is not in itself a harmful condition to suffer from, continuous over-exertion on your mana core could lead to it shrinking, hurting your long-term growth."

Her words caused Ron to look pensive and a little worried. She tried to reassure him, "I'm sure you didn't overdo it. I remember practicing all day on our first day back, and I started to feel a bit woozy. But I felt better the next day and haven't had any problems with my magic."

The intended effect of her words didn't happen as the red-haired boy further shrank into his seat. Harry glared at her a little bit before he turned to Ron and started to reassure him.

'Did I say something wrong? Was it because he doesn't feel good the next day?' she thought worriedly. The earlier discussion about his wand was forgotten. As Harry tried to talk to Ron, who was behaving quite unlike himself right now, she stood up and walked to the door.

"I'll try to find Rigel. Since he knew Ron's method, he must have done more research than me." She said aloud, getting a hurried nod from Harry. She escaped the slightly depressed atmosphere of the compartment and looked at the letters written above their compartment and the two next to them.

'Merlin, please let it not be like the Hogwarts library,' she prayed as she moved toward the left. Compartment 4-E was quite far from her starting point, and on the way, she went through the usual cliches of groups found across Hogwarts. Most people were in groups of 3 to 4, they were mostly quite homogenous as far as different houses were concerned, though she did see plenty of Hufflepuffs sitting with someone from Gryffindor.

It was still weird and she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. As she stood in front of Compartment 4-E, her hand raised to knock on the door, she realized what it was. 'There is no sound coming from this or any of the surrounding compartments.' Her hand slowly lowered as she looked around. Throughout the way, the corridor was filled with laughter, shrieks, and muffled bangs. But now it was eerily silent.

'No time to hesitate right now,' she reprimanded herself as she pushed through her reluctance, and her knuckles rapped on the door a couple of times. She paused soon after, but the expected sound of knocking never came as the door simply absorbed her blows. She tried again but got the same result.

'Is this a silencing charm?' She thought as she frowned at the door. Knowing that Ron is currently hyperventilating with a panic attack, she forced herself to ignore the rules of privacy as she grabbed the door handle and slid open the door just a tiny bit. The apology that was at the tip of her tongue crawled back down as she watched with widened eyes the erotic scene in front of her. It was something she had only heard whispers about.

Rigel has always been one of the popular first-year students. He had everything: the charisma, the family name, money, and power, and to top it all off, he was really good at magic. So she always thought that the rumors that had sprung up out of nowhere were a product of the students' jealousy. After all she had lived through in high school, she had seen how popularity attracted ugliness. To her, Rigel was a brilliant guy who loved magic and was finding his way in this strange new world.

'This is soo....' Her thoughts weren't able to capture what she was seeing. Rigel was sitting on the seat with the brunette, dressed in what looked like underwear from those trashy magazines. Her mouth was stretched wide as obscene sounds filtered through the door, with so much passion, and her hands behind her back, she was forcing Rigel's cock into her mouth.

'How is it so big?' She thought, her eyes attached to the glistening member through the rhythmic motions of the blonde girl's pink lips. Rigel's hand suddenly moved as he grabbed hold of the blonde's locks and pushed her head down. Her eyes travelled down, the bulge along the girl's throat was unimaginably magnetic. She saw it move as her right hand caressed her own throat. With just her imagination, it was difficult to comprehend that feeling as she watched that bulge move as Rigel used her dark locks as leverage to manhandle her head, as the girl moaned and gagged to a tune only those two could hear.

There was a sense of violence that attracted her as Rigel's movements sped up, and she heard him groan; her eyes moved to her closed eyes, his expression relaxed and conveying an emotion she couldn't quite grasp as his hips bucked.

And just like that, all movement stopped.

'Fuck....' She panicked as she closed the door shut, turned back, and ran.

AN: I'm going to set Hermione's personality as relatively pure in the beginning so her corruption would take a while.
