John and Jenny, a beautiful married couple had are seen preparing to have visitors. They had plans for the night to receive their friends and family.
"John", said jenny. "Are all the things for the party ready?" , asked jenny while she was running from the kitchen with a plate full of fruits on her hands and placed it on the table. The table also had all types of food you can think of whether it was spaghetti,chicken,pizza and many more.
It was now night time and the guests started to arrive one by one, untill the last one that was Steve who was Jinny's brother arrived.
The night begun with laughter as they say down and started eating the food. After the everyone was full they started to dance with one another. John was talking to Steve at his study room, about the company that John built and hired Steve as his assistant.
Downstairs Jinny was chatting away with her guests. The whole house was filled with a joyous atmosphere, but all of a sudden the lights went off. Jinny was surprised and checked out the window because they were living in the city and black out was not common here.
She then saw that it was not only their house that was experiencing a blackout but the whole city. Then immediately there was a defending alarm horn the same one used to alarm the whole city.
Up in the sky there were chunks of meteorites that were falling down from the sky. Jinny could not believe what was unfolding right before her eyes. A huge space rock was covering the sky and some of its chunks were falling down to earth.
Everyone came out the house and was starring in awe at the space rock and the meteorites falling down. Jinny looked at the meteorites in disbelief. Because the meteorites were burning up in a bright yellow colour, showing the hundreds and thousands of them illuminating the night sky.
While they were looking at the meteorites, the meteorites started raining on man,dog and building. "Everybody get in the house", shouted John. Everybody started running to the mountain but it was too late, some of them were caught in the falling meteors.
Only John,Jinny,Steve and two children Scott and Joe, who were the children of the deceased guests mad to the house. John was lucky a meteorite missed him but gave him a scratch on his left leg.
"Is everyone alright", said John while lighting a candle he picked from the floor with his lighter. "Well am not!", Steve screamed his lungs out."But you are alive aren't you!", John answered him sarcastically." What is happening?,where are my parents!", shouted joe with his face covered with tears and snot. John looked at Scott who was too frightened to talk and was shaking in ball formation.
John looked out the window and saw that the meteorites had stopped falling. He looked back at them and told them that it was safe and that the meteorites have stopped falling.
Everyone let out a sigh of relief. But it was stlll pitch darkness outside. It was too quiet outside,there were not even the sound of an animal to be heard. All of them didn't know that this was just the beginning.
A shriek of a woman cut the air like a hot knife on butter. Everyone got tense at the same time, with their hairs on the skin standing straight. Now everyone was on high alert and on their toes.
No one dared to speak a word.
They all stared at each other and became more tensed. Everyone agreed that they noone would go out untill they get help.But they did not know that they were being watched.
They kept looking out the window even though they couldn't see anything. After sometime they heard voices. They recognized these voices they belonged to their neighbors. The neighbours were calling for them. John and jenny didn't know what to do. Then all of a sudden there were ear splitting screaches, and then all hell broke loose.
The next thing they heard were the screams of their neighbors and the sound of flesh being teared apart. Their neighbors were screaming knocking on their door for help but they were too scared to even move. The silence returned after awhile and they could not still get up from the floor.
