I am a man.
An adult human male to be specific.
Is it anything special?
I guess not. Nor is being a student or a citizen of an average third-world country.
So am I unique?
Yes, Yes I am. Just like you, the one who writes about me, and everyone else.
We are all unique.
Unique:- Being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else.
Unique doesn't mean special or extraordinary. I am nothing special. Yet, I am the only me there ever was or will be.
But, I am still merely ordinary. I am strange, I am weird, I am fake. I am smart, I am kind, I am positive.
So many ways people describe me, but what am I exactly?
An adult who grew up unprepared for the world? A child trying to be a man he never was?
I love to eat, yet I have never desperately wished for any delicacies. I love to read, yet I don't seek the greatness of literature. I love to laugh, yet I love making myself sad. I love to improve, yet I never try hard enough to become better.
I am quite cheap. I hate to spend money, even on important things. I am shallow, I am extremely quick to judge people on the barest information I know about them. I am cruel, I love to see people hurt.
Yet, I try my best to spend for others, as it is how society always seemed to work for me. I try not to comment on others since I know very well how often I am wrong. I try my best to keep people happier around me, since I know it will work in my favor.
Always overthinking, always calculating.
That... is how I am.
Is that special? Yet again, it is not.
There are hundreds, thousands out there who behave exactly the same as me. 7-8 Billions of human beings. Of that, to be unique in the truest sense of the word means to be extraordinary.
But... I want to leave a mark in this world. I want to make people realize, that someone like me exists. That someone with my name lived.
In reality, all beings are Unique. Nothing can change that.
So I wish to be extraordinary, even as the lazy, procrastinating ass that I am.
Life gave me the chance, so why not take it?
This is a tale of a man, nothing more than anyone else, nowhere better than anyone else. Simply, lucky enough... to become, extraordinary.
