Chapter 52 – Upgrades and a Meeting
Izuku, Tsuyu, Camie, Momo, Ochako, and Iida were walking on the first floor of the main U.A. campus building, heading for the Support Course's Development Studio. They were all planning to use their current free period to at least get some design ideas down for their costumes or some new gear.
Except for Momo, who was happy with her costume (the fact that the design came from Izuku was definitely part of the reason), and was going with them just because.
"I see. You're considering DNA-encoded memetic materials for your costume, Asui." Iida said as he looked at Tsuyu thoughtfully, his hand holding his chin contemplatively.
"Right. Kero." Tsuyu nodded with a little smile. "If I want to make the best use of my camouflage ability, then my suit needs to change along with my skin." She looked up at Iida, given their height difference. "What're you hoping to get, Iida?"
Iida briefly glanced down at his legs. "Naturally, I'm aiming to limit the downsides of my Recipro moves. I plan to ask the Development Studio to modify my radiators to make them more efficient and better able to regulate the overheating side effect of my engines."
Camie grinned a little. "Maybe you need a better coolant, Iida?"
"Possibly…" Iida took Camie's half-joke seriously, making Ochako hide a giggle behind her hand. "Perhaps I should mention that when going over ideas for my new radiator gear?"
Izuku, not one to point out that Camie was just joking to the ever-serious Iida, just smiled as he sped up a little to get to the large metal door of the Development Studio. "I'm sure we'll all be able to get what we need while we're here." He reached for the handle, wanting to hold the door open for his girlfriends and Iida.
"Speaking of, you never told us what you're hoping to have modified about your costume, Izukun." Momo said with a smile as the group walked towards the large door.
BOOM
An explosion escaped into the corridor the instant that the large metal door was opened, blasting Izuku off his feet in a wave of flames and smoke.
Everyone stared in shock at what just happened so suddenly as thick smoke filled part of the hallway.
"Heh heh… That hurrrt…" A female voice uttered out through the thick smoke.
"Koff koff… Of all the…" Power Loader coughed and waved his large gloved hand through the smoke to try and clear the air. "You can't just go around making whatever pops into that head of yours!" He snapped at the clearing clouds of smoke.
A silhouette was seen in the thinning smoke. "Hehehe… Failure is the mother of invention, Power Loader-sensei. Thomas Edison once said that. Just because a creation doesn't work as intended doesn't mean the effort is wasted…"
"That's not the point here! Just listen to me for once!" Power Loader snapped back at the girl's words. It was clear that the two had this conversation more than once before. "Hatsume!"
Lying atop the sprawled out Izuku was Hatsume Mei, the manic Support Course prodigy only now seeming to realize that she'd collided with someone during the brief explosion. With a grin, she looked at the face of the person she'd crashed into and taken to the ground. "Huh? Where'd you come from?"
Izuku glanced down, only to get an eyeful of Mei's cleavage as her black tank top and current position left little to the imagination. "U-Uh… Ha-Hatsume…" Izuku tore his eyes away from the tantalizing sight. "Y-Your b-b-…"
"Boobs." Ochako said without thinking about it, her shock from the explosion now compounding with her shock of seeing Hatsume lying atop Izuku.
"Hey now…" Camie took a few steps and helped/pulled Mei to her feet and off of Izuku. "Only we can lay on Izukun and show him our boobs, fam!"
"C-Camie!" Momo sputtered out, her cheeks going bright red.
Tsuyu's face was pink as well. "K-Kero…"
Ochako was covering her burning red cheeks with both hands, trying not to look at anyone. "You can't just say that!"
Izuku stood up and looked off to the side, running his hand through his fluffy green hair. "Camie…"
Hatsume, not even fazed by Camie's words, smiled at the group as she adjusted her steampunk goggles. "Sorry for the unexpected explosion! It's been a while! You guys're from the Hero Course… Uh… I've forgotten all of your names!"
"Mi-Midoriya Izuku." Izuku said as he managed to regain his composure.
"I'm Iida Tenya! The man you used as a walking billboard during the Sports Festival!" Iida declared, chopping the air powerfully as he glared at Hatsume.
"Never heard of ya!" Hatsume declared as she turned from the group, not bothering with the rest of the introductions. "Anyway, I'm busy. Got to get back to working on my babies."
Momo blinked at the abrupt end of the introductions. "Um…"
Camie looked at Hatsume's back confused. "Girl…"
"She hasn't changed much since the Sports Festival." Tsuyu said with a small shake of her head.
"No kidding." Ochako agreed with a sigh.
Izuku tried to follow after Hatsume. "Ah, hold on… We wanted to talk to Power Loader-sensei about costume modifications and perhaps some new support gear!"
Hatsume's head whipped around so fast it was amazing that she didn't get whiplash. "Costume modifications?!" In a blur Hatsume cleared the space between her and Izuku, now right in his face as if personal space was merely a suggestion. "Color me intrigued!"
Power Loader decided to take pity on the Hero Course students as he saw Izuku leaning away from Hatsume's face that kept getting closer to his own. "Hatsume…" The manic inventor turned her head just enough to look at her teacher. "It's fine that you practically live in the Development Studio, now that we have the dorms, but if you keep raising havoc like this, I'll ban you for life. Kehehe…"
That threat seemed to rein Hatsume in to a degree and Power Loader waved the group into the workshop.
"Eraserhead gave me the general heads up." Power Loader said as he looked the six students over once. "He said his students might come by looking for costume modifications to accommodate their Super Moves."
The Hero Course students all gasped as they saw the state of the Development Studio. Every wall was filled with tools, the ceiling had various wenches and pullies along with larger devices that the six students couldn't name. Every table and workbench in the large workshop was covered in parts, materials, and in-progress projects of all kinds. Even the floor had stacks of boxes of parts here and there, not to mention several shelves and filing cabinets filled with various documents and binders filled with schematics and other paperwork.
"Wow! It's like a secret base…" Izuku marveled at the huge workshop.
"No kidding…" Camie said, looking this way and that.
Power Loader held out his hand. "Do you six have the schematics and paperwork that came with your costumes? They're in the case that your costumes are stored in normally." He was handed the paperwork from each student and his experienced eyes quickly looked over each one, getting the basics of the current specs. "I'm licensed to make modifications, so you can be assured of quality and function." He looked at Tsuyu first as the girl stepped forward after sharing a look with the others. "For small modifications and redesigns, we just have to report the changes to the Agency that originally made your costumes, they'll take care of the legal paperwork after that. Bigger modifications require us to submit a formal application to the Agency in question, though." He scratched the large metal helmet on his head with his gloved hands as he explained the process for costume modifications to the students. "Once the Agency has made the new costume, then they have the government inspect the altered costume, and if it's approved, they send it back to us." He looked over the request that Tsuyu had submitted and nodded at a couple of points. "The Agency that I work with is one of the best, so we should be able to have the entire process completed in about three days."
Tsuyu perked up at the short amount of time it would take to have her costume upgraded. "Even with DNA-encoded materials?"
"Yep!" Power Loader gave her a thumbs up. "Speaking of which, have Recovery Girl draw some blood so that we can send it off with the request. DNA-encoding is still a rather new technology for Hero costumes, so it's best to have everything prepared ahead of time."
"Yes, sensei." Tsuyu agreed with a cute croak. She could have that done before their free period ended.
Power Loader then turned to Izuku. "And you?"
Izuku patted his arms then his shoulders and chest. "My costume needs to be able to handle more varied body transformations…as well as intense heat." He rubbed the back of his head with a lopsided smile. "I've acquired a few new Transformation Quirks and a really powerful Fire Quirk. Would that be possible?"
"I see. Fairly simple modifications, we should be able to get you handled in-house." Power Loader told Izuku as he typed the request into his large computer.
"Good for you, Izukun!" Ochako cheered for her boyfriend.
"Yeah, I'm happy it's so…easy…?" Izuku trailed off, his body locking up a bit as he felt unfamiliar hands on his body.
Hatsume was moving her gloved hands over Izuku's torso, over his abs and chest, and even to his sides. "Okay, okay. I see."
"Hatsume… What're you doing?" Ochako asked, her words drawn out as her hair shadowed her face.
"Hehe… I'm touching his body." Hatsume said without a care. "Yes, yes… More ripped than he looks at first glance. Right, I think I have the perfect baby for you-"
Her words were cut off as Ochako's hand landed on her shoulder.
"I can see that you're touching him." Ochako said with annoyance and a hint of anger hidden just below the surface. "Please stop." She tightened her grip on the other girl's shoulder, her Quirk not activating only because she'd made sure that the finger pad on her thumb didn't touch Hatsume's shoulder.
Hatsume removed her hands from Izuku's form and Momo quickly pulled him away from the manic inventor.
"Are you okay, Izukun?" Momo asked Izuku softly.
"I-I'm alright." Izuku said after a second. "Thank you, Momo, Ochako." He smiled at both of his girlfriends.
"Any time!" Ochako was all smiles again.
Camie snickered behind her hand. "Territorial Chako is cute~"
Ochako was now blushing adorably. Tsuyu pulled her into a one-armed hug with a smile.
While Hatsume was being pulled away from Izuku, Iida took the opportunity to approach Power Loader.
"I'd like to enhance the efficiency and cooling capabilities of the radiators in my costume." Iida said as if he was trying to prevent the others from hearing.
"In that case…" Hatsume was suddenly behind Iida with a grin. As soon as Iida turned around, Hatsume slipped two large gauntlets over Iida's arms. "Try THIS baby! This 'Super Cooler Electric Booster' reduces heat output to a minimum! It's my thirty-sixth baby! Cute, isn't it?!"
Iida looked at the large gauntlets, each with three powerful-looking jet turbines on them, in disbelief. "I don't need a booster, Hatsume. Besides, why would you attach them to my arms?"
Hatsume pressed the button she had in her hand with a smile. "Booster on!"
"H-Hey!" Iida cried out as the turbines powered up.
RRMBBB
VOOM
A powerful blast of air shot Iida straight up like a rocket, slamming into the reinforced ceiling and holding him there as the powerful jets roared.
"IIDA!" Izuku, Ochako, and Camie cried out while Momo covered her mouth with her hands and Tsuyu could only stare at what had just happened.
"Booster off." Hatsume clicked the bottom again and the gauntlets slowed down, lowering Iida to the ground before they powered down completely.
"MY QUIRK USES MY LEGS!" Iida cried out as he kneeled on the ground, soreness in his back from the collision with the ceiling.
Hatsume only chuckled. "Hehe… I know. But I was thinking that…" She spread her arms out. "…if you need to rest your legs, then how about running with your arms instead?"
"That's enough nonsense out of you!" Power Loader barked at Hatsume taking a half-hearted swipe at the manic girl's head with his gloved hand. "Knock it off, already."
"Child abuse!" Hatsume declared, easily avoiding the slow swipe.
Power Loader pointed his gloved finger straight at Hatsume's face. "I swear I'll ban you. I mean it!"
Hatsume frowned at Power Loader and walked back towards her work area.
No one seemed to notice the look of realization that Izuku had as he thought about what Hatsume had said. It might seem like nonsense on the surface, but it wasn't entirely crazy.
'Using different parts of the body for similar tasks…' Izuku thought to himself as a few ideas began to form in his head, his normal combinations of Quirks were now mixed with combinations of Quirks in relation to various parts of his body.
"Sorry, her ego knows no bounds. It's like a sickness, really." Power Loader said to the group while watching Hatsume already getting back to work, her irritation with her teacher having only lasted until she reached her workstation.
Iida, now back on his feet, gave a deadpan look to Power Loader. "We know."
"That said…" Power Loader's sharp eyes stared the Hero Course students down, nearly locking them in place. "…if you kids are hoping to become Heroes, you'd do well to cultivate a working relationship with her. Because once you turn pro, she'll be your support." He pointed to a corner that was piled high with various types of support gear. "See that pile of junk in the corner? Those're all support items that Hatsume has made since school started." The Hero students' eyes widened at the small mountain of items all being made by a single person.
Momo looked at Power Loader in surprise. "But it hasn't even been six months…"
Power Loader nodded once. "Even during weekends and vacations, she's in here, messing around with something or another. I've seen plenty of Support Course students come and go, but Hatsume's in a league of her own."
"She's dedicated. Kero." Tsuyu said, able to at least give Hatsume credit for her drive and ingenuity.
"Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen – That's a quote from Einstein." Power Loader said as he watched Hatsume continue to work. "She doesn't fear failure. Every single one of her ideas gets put to the test. The best innovators out there are unconstrained by convention."
This time, it was Momo's eyes that widened as she thought about Power Loader's words and watched as Hatsume worked for a moment. 'Unrestrained by convention…' She'd always thought about WHAT she could make and how it could be effective in each scenario. 'But have I been thinking too conventionally this whole time?' Her Quirk could make anything she understood the atomic and molecular structure of… 'But is that everything my Quirk can do?'
"So, what else do you need?" Power Loader asked, looking at Camie next.
"Well, I was thinking of a way to store my Quirk a bit?" Camie stated her idea, briefly exhaling a small cloud of her prismatic mist to demonstrate.
Hatsume was nearly charging towards Camie with an item in her hands and a big smile on her face. "Try this baby then!"
"Hatsume!" Power Loader snapped at the manic girl again.
Camie raised her arms between herself and the rapidly closing in, Hatsume. "Chill girl, damn!"
The rest of their visit was filled with Power Loader taking down their requests and giving them ideas to help refine the overall modifications or gear they might need made. All the while, having to fend off Hatsume whenever she had a 'baby' that could potentially match the request.
-Heights Alliance ~ Evening-
"Has anyone seen Midoriya or Utsushimi?" Shoji asked as he was helping with dinner preparations tonight.
Tsuyu, Ochako, and Momo all giggled a little.
"Izukun and Camie will be eating dinner elsewhere." Tsuyu informed their tallest classmate.
Sero and Kaminari perked up at that.
"Camie and Midoriya have snuck off somewhere for a date?!" Kaminari immediately jumped to the most obvious reason for the two being missing.
"Awww!" Mina cooed, her hands on her cheeks.
Toru giggled brightly. "That's adorable!"
"Are…Are they coming back tonight?" Sero asked, looking at the front doors.
"What're you thinking, mon ami?" Aoyama asked with a knowing grin on his lips, sparkles dancing in the air around him.
Sato looked between Aoyama and Sero. "Guys…"
Jiro rolled her eyes. "Don't be weird you two." The slight pink on her cheeks showed everyone that she already knew what the two boys were implying.
"We shouldn't delve into our friends' relationships." Tokoyami said with his arms crossed.
"Pervs." Chikuchi said, driving metaphorical spikes into Sero and Aoyama's chests.
Kirishima, now curious, looked at Momo, Ochako, and Tsuyu. "So… Are they NOT on a date?"
Ochako shook her head, her perma-blush a bit darker than normal. "Izukun is meeting Camie's parents tonight."
The entire common area went silent for a moment as everyone processed the information.
"Wow…" Koda was actually the one to break the silence.
"THAT'S, LIKE, SUPER SERIOUS!" Toru cried out in amazement.
Mina was practically bouncing in her seat. "Right?!" She giggled brightly. "Are they getting married soon?!"
"No way…right?" Kaminari looked at Tsuyu, Ochako, and Momo.
"I mean…we're not that far off from being able to marry…legally." Sero said, scratching his cheek lightly as he processed the idea.
Jiro's face was more red than pink now. "Come on, that's not it." The idea of attending her friends' wedding in the next couple of years was crazy!
"You extras are crazy." Bakugo said as he worked to cut vegetables for dinner. "Deku wouldn't get married before becoming a Hero, none of us would." He went back to his task without another word.
Kirishima looked at Bakugo's back for a few seconds before turning back to everyone else in the common area. "I think that's one of the first times we've ever heard Bakugo talk about Midoriya without yelling…"
"Right?" Sato agreed with a nod.
Chikuchi shrugged. "I'll take your word for it."
"It's a pleasant change, à mon avis." Aoyama said with a smile, sparkles appearing around him as he sipped some tea like a European gentleman.
Bakugo, unseen by the others, scowled at them for pointing out his change in tone when talking about Deku.
"Are you sick, Bakugo?!" Mina asked with a bright laugh.
"Oh yeah, maybe he is!" Kaminari laughed as he leaned over the back of the couch to see the kitchen area. "Do you need to go to bed even earlier than you usually do, Bakugo?"
Bakugo glared murderously over his shoulder at Kaminari. "SAY THAT AGAIN, DUNCE FACE!"
Kaminari ducked behind the couch instantly.
"Never mind, he's fine." Dark Shadow commented, the intelligent Quirk having appeared from behind Tokoyami.
That got more than a few of them to burst out into laughter.
Bakugo, trying not to explode and ruin his current work, ignored all of them.
-Utsushimi Home-
"Ready, Izukun?" Camie asked with a warm smile.
Izuku took a slow breath, feeling his heart beating strongly. "Y-Yeah."
Camie couldn't help but giggle. "You can fight Villains just fine… But meeting my parents still makes you all nervous and flustered?" She squeezed his hand in hers to give him support.
"That's…different." Izuku said as he gently squeezed her hand back.
"Then let me give you some courage, Izukun~" Camie whispered before kissing him.
The two deepened their kiss after a moment, their tongues playing as Camie pressed herself flush against Izuku. After almost a full minute, the two pulled away from each other.
"Better?" Camie grinned at Izuku.
Izuku nodded for a second before remembering to speak. "Yeah…"
Camie beamed at her boyfriend before dragging him to the front door. "Great! Let's go!"
Izuku didn't get a chance to become flustered again as Camie opened the door and pulled him inside.
"I'm home!" Camie called out, the smell of food cooking already filling the home. "I brought Izuku!"
A stunningly beautiful woman entered the hallway from what was probably the kitchen, given she was wearing an apron, and approached the two teens with a bright and warm smile. "Welcome home, Camie!" Her long fawn-colored hair matched her daughter's perfectly, and it was abundantly clear where Camie had gotten her looks from. "So, this is Midoriya-kun~?" She looked at the young man with an almost teasing smile. "I'm Camie's mother: Utsushimi Aki!"
Izuku's body nearly locked up as he met Camie's mother. His analytical mind gave the woman a once over and took in details. 'Is this what Camie will look like in a few years?!' He wasn't sure his heart could handle such beauty!
Utsushimi Aki was gorgeous, a nearly flawless face with a little beauty mark at the edge of her left eye, said eyes were a rich brown filled with warmth. Her bust was large, hinting at how much more 'growing' that Camie would go through, her waist was trim and she had wide, child-bearing hips. Her dress kept her legs covered, but Izuku still noticed that they were long and fit the woman's figure quite well.
"Nice to meet you, Utsushimi-san." Izuku bowed politely to his girlfriend's mother.
"Such a polite young man." Aki giggled at how cute Izuku was. "You've got yourself a good one, Camie-chan~"
"I know, right?" Camie beamed at her mom, pulling Izuku into her side as she hugged his arm against her body.
Aki giggled again, making Izuku blush slightly, both from the woman's beautiful giggle and Camie's physical affection in front of her mother. "Well, your father is waiting~" She teased the two before leading the way to the sitting room and opening the door for Izuku and Camie.
"Sit." The man on the opposite side of the low table said as soon as he saw Izuku. He was rather handsome, showing that Camie's looks actually came from both her parents, specifically her eyes which matched her fathers. He was somewhat muscular, but not overly so, though the slightly baggy shirt he was wearing could be hiding a bit. His dark black hair was cut short and clean, and he had a 'no nonsense' expression on his face.
Izuku took the three steps necessary to get to the cushion on his side of the table and sat in seiza for their first official meeting.
Camie sat next to Izuku, giving her dad a look that briefly made the father's face soften slightly.
"I'm Midoriya Izuku, sir." Izuku introduced himself to Camie's father with a proper bow.
The police officer stared at Izuku's bowed form before the young man sat back up properly. "Utsushimi Saiga." He introduced himself with a very small bow in return.
Izuku tried to smile, but under the intense stare of Saiga, only managed a slight upturn of his lips. "It's a pleasure to meet you, sir."
"What are your intentions with my daughter, Midoriya-san." Saiga questioned his daughter's boyfriend, cutting right to the chase. He had nothing against Izuku as a person, he'd already done a background search on the boy and his family and found nothing bad. But since she'd been in Junior High, his daughter had blossomed into a lovely young lady and Saiga had seen more than enough boys wanting to get close to his daughter. Many of which he could tell only wanted his daughter for her looks and body, not caring about her as a person.
"I'd like to date Camie, sir. I want to make her happy for as long as we're together." Izuku replied clearly, his 'courage boost' from Camie before they'd entered her home helping him not stumble over his words. How was Camie's father this intimidating?! Was it because he was a police officer?! Or was it just the intensity of the man as he stared Izuku down. 'Maybe it's his Quirk? Or just a dad thing, like with Tsuyu's father?'
"I see." Saiga nodded just slightly. "I have looked into you, Midoriya-san." He admitted and Izuku blinked in surprise. "Your record for heroics is already substantial, even compared to some third-year students at U.A. that have been doing work studies for two years." The man leaned forward over the table a bit, the intensity in the air increasing and Izuku swore he could feel it physically. "But I've seen far too many young men after my daughter for the wrong reasons. You can understand why I'm looking out for her, yes?"
Izuku nodded back. "Y-Yes sir!"
"This reminds me of when you met my father, dear~" Aki giggled as she entered the room with some tea for everyone. "You don't need to use your Quirk." She gave her husband a little look.
"Daddy!" Camie pouted at her father, a little glare on her face.
Saiga caved immediately from the looks the two most important women in his life were giving him. "Alright." The pressure that Izuku swore he could feel disappeared as Saiga accepted the tea from his wife.
"He's a bit overprotective." Aki giggled while giving Izuku a soft smile. She didn't want her husband to run off such a nice young man that their Camie seemed to like very much. She could tell that Izuku was in love with Camie, not lusting after her daughter's body…she'd grown up with much the same experiences due to her beauty, so it was familiar territory.
Izuku, now not feeling the intensity to such a degree, caught the words that Aki had said. "Quirk?"
Camie made sure to give her dad another pout as he sipped his tea. "Yeah, that pressure you probably felt is my dad's Quirk: Intensity. It gives the one under its effect a feeling like they're being pressed down and closed in on."
"Oh!" Izuku's eyes widened a bit and Camie saw the small sparkle in them. "That's so cool."
Camie giggled and Aki laughed softly. Saiga barely changed his expression, but there was a softness in his eyes as he saw his wife and daughter smiling, laughing, and happy.
"I'll permit this relationship, Midoriya-san." Saiga said as he saw how easily the young man could make Camie laugh. He also didn't want to get on his daughter's bad side. "However," He set the tea cup down on the low table with a little more force than necessary. "I will tell you this… As a father, I'll have my eyes on you. Should you ever do anything to hurt my daughter, I'm sure you can imagine what a police officer can do to you, even if you're a Pro Hero."
It wouldn't be the first time that a police investigation into a Pro Hero had brought to light bad things that saw said Hero losing their license and even going to prison.
"I would never do that, Utsushimi-san." Izuku's response was almost as intense as Saiga had been for most of this meeting. "All I want to do is make Camie happy and marry her one day."
Camie's cheeks turned red and she hugged Izuku close while burying her face into his shoulder. Both from the overflowing love that she was feeling for her boyfriend at this very moment, and also because of the happy little squeal from her mother at Izuku mentioning marriage. Camie already knew that her mother was beaming at Izuku without even having to see it.
"Slow down a little, Midoriya-san." Saiga said to the teen, his Quirk briefly flaring to life again.
"Yes, sir." Izuku agreed, wrapping his arms around Camie and hugging her warmly. Also partially burying his face into her soft hair to hide his growing blush as Aki looked at him with sparkling eyes and an almost visible aura of joy radiating off of her.
Saiga could already tell that his wife was getting ideas for a wedding and gently took her hand in his. Aki turned to him and, seeing that both teens were still hiding their eyes, kissed Saiga deeply for a moment before pulling away. Seeing Izuku and Camie pulling back from each other and smiling the same way that he and Aki had smiled at each other when he'd gotten her father's approval to date her; Saiga knew he'd made the right choice. At least his daughter's boyfriend was truly in love and made his little girl happy. He approved of Izuku for that much at the very least.
Aki practically traipsed out of the room, her aura of joy still nearly glowing around her. "I'll go finish up dinner~"
It would only be a few minutes later that Izuku would meet Camie's younger sister, a cute girl in her second-to-last year of Elementary school: Utsushimi Miu. The younger girl had been helping Aki with the cooking, learning how to cook from her mother and was happy to give Izuku food that she'd made.
"So, are you gonna be my new Onii-chan?" Miu had asked when the five of them had sat down for dinner.
Aki had burst into beautiful laughter at that innocent question.
Saiga reached over to gently pat his youngest daughter's head, her hair just as dark as his own.
Camie leaned close to Izuku with a teasing smile. "Yeah, Izukun~ Are you gonna be her new Onii-chan~?"
"I… I…" Izuku's face couldn't get much redder.
"I want another Onii-chan!" Miu said with a bright smile as she looked at Izuku.
Izuku blinked at the younger girl's words. "Another?"
Camie smiled at Izuku. "My older brother, he lives with his wife. I'll make sure you can meet him sometime!"
"He doesn't hang out with me enough!" Miu said with an adorable little pout.
Saiga chuckled at that, patting his little girl's head. "You know why, honey."
Miu still pouted, muttering something about how her 'new Onee-chan' stole her Onii-chan.
Aki couldn't help but giggle as she placed some more of Miu's favorite foods on her plate. That made the young girl smile again as she happily ate.
It was a warm and enjoyable dinner after that, and Izuku was surprised at how much he felt like part of the family already.
