Even Sandro, recovering from Triple H's clothesline, fought back with desperation. He tackled Triple H into the corner, ramming his shoulder into his midsection repeatedly. His face was twisted with rage, his teeth bared, the United States Championship still clutched in his hand like a weapon.
The powerhouse trio of Drew, Ryback, and Big E flexed their strength, sending shockwaves through the ring. For every punch and kicks DX landed, they answered with bone crushing power moves. For every kick Kofi threw, Drew came back with brute force. For a fleeting moment, it looked like the Undisputed System might turn the tide.
But the numbers… the numbers were too much for Sandro and the Undisputed System.
Triple H rallied, hammering Sandro with right hands, one after the other, driving him back into the corner. Shawn Michaels delivered a Sweet Chin Music out of nowhere to Ryback, the crowd exploding as the big man crumpled to the mat. Road Dogg and Billy Gunn regrouped, hitting Big E with their signature combo strikes, forcing the powerhouse to stumble into X-Pac, who nailed him with the Bronco Buster in the corner.
On the outside, Tori finally mounted Alexa and unleashed a furious series of punches, Alexa desperately trying to cover up but failing miserably against Tori's rage.
Kofi came flying out of the corner with a Trouble in Paradise that connected flush with Drew McIntyre's jaw, sending the Scottish brute tumbling over the ropes to the floor at ringside.
The Undisputed System had been rocked, overwhelmed, beaten down. One by one, they fell, the chaos swallowing them whole until only Sandro remained standing, clutching his championship tight, chest heaving, and his eyes wild.
Realizing the tide had turned, Sandro shouted to his members. "Fall back! Fall back! FALL BACK!"
Breathing heavily, battered and bruised, the Undisputed System scrambled to their feet, Alexa clawing her way out of the ring, Wade clutching his ribs, Drew holding his jaw, Big E dragging Ryback out by the arm. They stumbled together toward the ramp, retreating as a unit. No one was left behind this time like before at Wrestlemania.
Sandro, though, kept hold of his United States Championship like it was his lifeline. Standing on the ramp, chest rising and falling rapidly, sweat dripping from his face, he pointed back at the ring and screamed, his voice hoarse but filled with venom. "This is on all of you DX! You all wanted this! You think you can stop us?! You think this is over?! We're not finished! We're just getting started!"
His members stood behind him, equally enraged, equally exhausted. The fans booed with everything they had, their voices raining hatred down on the Undisputed System.
Back in the ring, DX and Kofi leaned against the ropes, staring up the ramp, daring Sandro and his crew to come back. Triple H spat on the mat, gesturing for them to return. Shawn, his chest heaving, pointed at Sandro and shouted something lost in the roar of the crowd. Kofi, fired up, slammed his fists on the ropes, begging for another round.
But Sandro wasn't budging. He sneered, adjusting the United States Title onto his shoulder, his eyes burning with defiance. He raised the belt high, his voice carrying over the noise. "I'm the champion now. I don't answer to you. I don't answer to anyone. You don't get to demand a damn thing from me. You're beneath me. ALL of you!"
The boos rained down even harder, trash pelting the floor around the Undisputed System as they slowly backed up the ramp. Sandro held his title tight, his sneer never leaving his face.
Cole's voice was triumphant. "Finally, King! Finally, some justice for all the crap we've seen tonight! DX and Kofi Kingston sent the Undisputed System running with their tails tucked between their legs!"
Lawler nodded, grinning ear to ear. "They got what was coming, Cole. Sandro might have stolen the United States Championship, but tonight… tonight, he and his little goons learned they can't just take over without consequences!"
The fans were still standing, still chanting, a mix of "DX! DX! DX!" and "KOFI! KOFI! KOFI!" The energy in the building was electric, raw, alive.
In the ring, DX stood tall, arms raised in unison. Shawn Michaels, sweat dripping but smiling ear to ear, did a few crotch chops to the delight of the fans. Triple H pointed directly at Sandro, mouthing, "This isn't over." Road Dogg grabbed a microphone from ringside and did the classic DX signature words, his voice booming as the crowd shouted every word with him.
"And if you're not down with that…"
The crowd screamed it with him. "…we got two words for ya!"
"SUCK IT!"
The arena shook with approval, the fans losing their minds. Sandro's scowl deepened on the ramp, his jaw clenched, his body trembling with fury.
RAW closed with that image burned into everyone's minds, DX and Kofi Kingston standing tall in the ring, victorious in spirit, while Sandro Zhang and the Undisputed System backed away, the stolen championship glinting under the lights.
Cole's final words as the credits rolled captured the moment perfectly. "What a night! Sandro may call himself champion, but the war has just begun. The Undisputed System has an army… but tonight, DX and Kofi Kingston proved they've got one too. This fight is far from over!"
The screen faded to black as the crowd was still chanting, still roaring, still alive with the promise of battles yet to come.
Meanwhile, Twitter exploded the second RAW went off the air. The hashtags were everywhere, #RAW, #DX, #UndisputedSystem, #SandroZhang, #USChampionships all trending within minutes.
Wrestling podcasters and analysts were firing up emergency livestreams, and fans on every corner of the internet couldn't stop talking about what they'd just witnessed. The discourse was massive, chaotic, and unfiltered.
At first, the conversation centered around what happened earlier in the show, before the chaos of the main event even unfolded. Fans were still in disbelief that Sandro had come out, flanked by the Undisputed System, and demanded a United States Title match based on his right as the inaugural winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. It was bold, cocky, and utterly in character.
But what no one expected was what followed, the sudden appearance of the Chairman of WWE himself, Vince McMahon. No one thought Vince McMahon himself would come out to address him, but when that familiar "No Chance in Hell" theme hit, the arena had shaken like it was 1999 again.
Clips of Vince strutting down to the ring were already being reposted endlessly, with fans remarking how surreal it was to see Vince in the middle of this new era, face-to-face with one of the most polarizing new stars WWE had ever produced. But even more shocking than Vince's arrival was how the exchange of promos between Vince and Sandro escalated into territory nobody thought WWE would ever touch again.
Sandro and Vince didn't just exchange words, they went to war with them. Vince tried to keep his usual swagger, but Sandro wasn't intimidated. He leaned into the venom, cursing on live TV, flipping Vince the bird, and bringing up the McMahon family in a way that hadn't been heard on WWE programming in years.
The crowd gasped when Sandro mentioned Stephanie and Triple H, and jaws dropped when he made veiled threats about their granddaughters. It wasn't PG. It wasn't sanitized. It was raw, and it was brutal. Fans online immediately compared it to the promos of the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression Era, saying that Sandro had singlehandedly dragged the product back into dangerous, must see territory.
"WWE hasn't had someone cut loose like this in years," one analyst tweeted. "Sandro's basically forcing the company to play in his arena, and the crowd is LOVING it."
Another podcaster wrote, "That promo was insane. He cursed, he flipped off Vince, he dragged the McMahons into it, and the fans were chanting his name. This man is changing the game on the fly."
The general consensus was clear, Sandro was leveraging something beyond kayfabe. The influence of his father, Jack Zhang, and the wealth and reach of Nexum Core, seemed to give him freedoms other superstars could only dream about.
For many fans, that wasn't a bad thing. Wrestling, they argued, couldn't be separated from the McMahon family, profanity laced tirades, and unhinged promos that blurred reality. Sandro, by pushing those boundaries, was pulling the business back into an era fans had missed.
"This is wrestling," one fan posted. "Raw, ugly, shocking. The kind of stuff that made the Attitude Era legendary. Sandro is dragging WWE back into that vibe, whether you like him or not."
But soon, the conversation shifted toward the main event, he five star spectacle between Sandro and The Miz for the United States Championship.
Analysts were stunned by how much both men had showcased. Some thought Alexa Bliss and the rest of the Undisputed System would dominate the spotlight, especially since Big Show was the only backup in Miz's corner.
On paper, the numbers game was stacked in Sandro's favor. Yet instead of constant interference, the focus remained in the ring, where Sandro unleashed a level of brutality that few expected.
Clips of Sandro's stiff suplexes, his sharp spinebusters, and his calculated assaults on Miz's ribs were already circulating online.
Fans replayed the moment he superkicked Miz out of nowhere, the way he spat on the mat after jawing at the referee, and the sickening thud when he dropped Miz on his head with a swinging neckbreaker. His attack on Miz was bad enough, but the moment he left the ring and flattened Big Show with that Tope Con Hilo became one of the most replayed clips of the night.
But nothing was more talked about than the referee bribery.
The first time, Sandro slipped money into the referee's back pocket while the official was "checking" the turnbuckle pad. Within seconds, Sandro landed a blatant low blow on Miz while the ref's back was turned, and though the crowd erupted in boos, the match continued. Fans were furious and impressed at the audacity.
The second time was even more brazen. After Sandro scored the three-count and was crowned the new United States Champion, he openly handed money to the referee in plain view. It was a callback to his days in FCW, where he had done the exact same thing, brazenly exposing the system he was exploiting.
"HE'S LITERALLY PAYING THE REFS," one fan tweeted in all caps. "This is the most heel thing I've seen in years."
Another wrote, "Sandro is making WWE feel unpredictable again. I hate him. I want to see him lose. I also can't wait to see what he does next."
Podcasters dissected the psychology, Sandro wasn't just cheating, he was making a point. By bribing referees in the open, he was telling the world that money bought power, and that the rules bent for him because he had the means to make them bend.
Analysts compared it to Ted DiBiase in the late '80s but cranked to eleven, with the added flair of modern social media receipts. Memes exploded, with one image showing Ted DiBiase with the caption. "Everybody's got a price… and Sandro's paying in cash."
"This is the dirtiest title win I've ever seen," one analyst tweeted. "It's disgusting, but damn, it's brilliant character work. Sandro isn't just a heel, he's redefining the word."
Still, fans weren't talking only about Sandro. The Miz earned universal respect for how much punishment he absorbed and how fiery his comebacks were. Clips of Miz's flying axe handle, his corner clothesline, and the near falls that had fans believing he might actually topple Sandro were everywhere. "That was Miz's best match in years," one analyst said. "He reminded people why he's a good prospect to become a world champion."
And then there was the post match chaos.
Just when Sandro and the Undisputed System thought they had the night in the bag, DX and Kofi Kingston stormed through the crowd and ambushed them.
The camera shot of Sandro holding up his title only to turn around into a wall of legends standing right behind him was already being called an all time RAW moment. The brawl that erupted afterward made it crystal clear that this war wasn't over, it was just beginning.
Twitter was flooded with clips of Shawn Michaels' Sweet Chin Music, Triple H's right hands, Kofi's Trouble in Paradise, and the way the Undisputed System had to retreat while DX and Kofi stood tall. One fan wrote, "This feels like old school RAW. Unpredictable chaos, legends vs. the new blood, and Sandro right at the heart of it."
