Thousands of years ago, Shakyamuni had already classified all living beings in the world in detail. Some classifications have been scientifically validated, of course, there are others which science still cannot comprehend.
What does it mean to be without form, without thought, neither with thought nor without thought?
Even ghosts concocted out of ignorance by the world can be considered as formless, yet they are beings with thoughts. Ghosts without thoughts are not welcomed by the people.
But being formless, without thought, neither with thought nor without thought are merely beings existing in the Form Realm and the Formless Realm.
