BOOOM!

An explosion made the underwater oceans tremble as a huge submarine-like machine moved through the oceans like a torpedo, evading deadly incoming missiles from every direction. The explosions continued, each one shaking the oceans and putting the submarine-like machine slightly off course, the process of putting itself back to its original course making it lose precious time.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

As this happened, right in front of the submarine, a large group of Fishmen and Mermaid battled against gigantic amphibious machines, shaped like huge sharks, crabs, dolphins, and swarms of flesh-eating little fish.

"Hmph!"

A salmon-headed Fishman roared, pushing his empty, orange-colored scaled hands forward as he unleashed a fiery shockwave of flames underwater, boiling the water and shaping it as rings to rapidly crush the machines around him.

"Hyaaah!"

A beautiful blue-haired mermaid swung her trident forward several times in a row, moving without issues underwater; her attacks quickly moved the water, which had merged with her own Aura, creating a Domain. Her attacks reached faraway foes as the water shaped around them, spears of water piercing her foes, carrying her physical power.

"Don't let them get any closer to the machine!"

An eel-like mermaid with a long and beautiful body led the army of fishmen and mermaid immortal cultivators, her bare hands moving her aura around, manifesting countless purple and green-colored eels made of her water-like aura, which coiled around her foes, crushing the machines, and making them explode underwater by infiltrating their wounds and eating them from the inside out.

"Looks like things are getting a bit more heated up, huh? Just how many machines are out there? My goodness…"

One of Anna's Egos, her Cosmic Transcendent Ego, spoke; as she glanced through the window, she was but an aspect of Anna but could speak like her and held all her memories and had her own independent thoughts and personality. Her sparkling, cosmic appearance made her rather majestic-looking, and she had that air of majesty within her, usually talking like a spoiled rich girl.

"Transcendent, don't distract yourself and get ready as well. We're about to arrive at our destination."

The second of Anna's Egos, her Yang Ego, which seemed to encompass her Heart of Hope aspect, spoke to Transcendent with a very strict and stoic voice. Her appearance was like Anna's too, but made of golden light and with hair made of golden flames of hope, looking like a spiritual being.

"Tch, this entire damn plan seems way too far-fetched and rushed! Are we even going to get to that damn mountain before everyone gets annihilated?! As usual, Anna's a stupid brat! You should've let me make the plan instead!"

And the third of Anna's Egos, someone that didn't even resemble her but that had become part of her and therefore was one of her aspects, Uroboros, a giant, red-scaled snake with several eyes and black horns, whose body was decorated with golden rings, spoke angrily. He was still very frustrated with his current situation, and although he had now agreed to cooperate for his own interests, he still disliked how Anna was the one that was the leader.

To him, as the most ancient, he should be the leader, as he considered himself very wise! However, as he had lived the majority of his life as a monstrous snake, it wasn't as if he was the smartest anyways. If anything, he was a cunning and traitorous viper that achieved the things it did thanks to becoming the pet of a much stronger Constellation and betraying Fenrir to gain more power.

"Graaarrr!"

"Gaaaooo!"

The two Primordial Beasts roared back at him angrily; they knew that Uroboros was a vile being, so whenever the snake talked, they would roar and bark at him angrily, although they wouldn't harm him.

"S-Shut up! What do you even know about me?! I am a genius and a strategist!" Uroboros complained. "And—"

RUMBLE!

The submarine trembled once more, making the entire interior shake strongly as a result; an explosion had almost reached the submarine. This wasn't the first time this happened.

"AAAAACK! I HATE THIS!" Uroboros kept complaining. "WHY WAS I EVEN SENT ON THIS MISSION?! I WANTED TO BE ON THE FRONT LINES!"

"Agh, would you stay silent already, you annoying demonic viper?!" Transcendent lost her composure, quickly grabbing the snake by the neck and strangling him.

"AAAGGH!" Uroboros started screaming while beginning to choke. "S-SPARE MEEE… GYEEEHH…!"

He was completely powerless against her…

"Let him go, Transcendent," said Yang. "He might be rather annoying, but he is still a valuable ally. Making enemies between each other as Egos is not a good thing; it could cause Anna to be unable to use our powers at full potential."

"I was just playing; we're good friends with Uroboros, right?" Transcendent smiled, patting Uroboros' head, who was gasping for air.

"I-I'm not your damn friend!" Uroboros cried. "And…!"

"Hey everyone, shut up and listen!"

Suddenly, the voice of a young girl echoed within the interior of the submarine, even though she wasn't even inside but floating right behind the submarine inside a bubble made of golden light.

It was nobody else than Yu Mingzhu, formerly the Will of the Heavenly Empress, who had become an independent living being after being freed from the Trial Tower and given her own body and independence.

She was covering the submarine's back, using her powerful and unique Spiritual Techniques to blast through the machines attacking the backside, filling them with holes as she fired hundreds of golden-colored lasers.

"Yu? Has something happened that requires our attention?" Transcendent asked.

"Yeah, yeah, we're getting closer! Look, we're almost there by now!" Yu's voice echoed as the Egos looked through the window, noticing the enormous underwater landscape.

Just as the Venerables had said, the sunken continent of Pangea was right beneath them, and they had been traveling above it the entire time.

The mountains, forests, and ruins of ancient civilizations were still there, covered by corals and algae, but many of them were almost intact.

The reason was simple: due to the amount of Ki and Spiritual Energies within these forests, mountains, and other areas, it took a long while for the ocean to deteriorate them.

It would take another ten thousand years before everything were to be finally eaten away by the ocean's flora and fauna.

And that also included the gigantic mountain they were moving to, once tall enough to allow anybody to reach the nine heavens by climbing it, the Heaven's Peak.

And right above its peak, there were countless mechanical and robotic roots, spreading down and piercing the mountain itself, rushing upwards to form the massive Mechanical Tree, the first one to have arrived in this world.

"We're finally here…" Yang said.

"So it's finally time, very well! Enough tomfoolery, Uroboros," Transcendent smiled, crossing her arms.

"Tomfoolery?! I am not messing around; you're the one that's—"

"Enough with it already!" said Yu. "Get out quickly; we're arriving in ten seconds! The machines have gathered into a huge swarm; we'll have to break through them with the Beasts to mine through the mountain! Don't make me repeat myself!"

"Sorry, it's just Uroboros being quite the annoying little sidekick," Transcendent annoyedly said.

"I'm going to kill you one day…" Uroboros groaned.

"Let's go then…" Yang said. "Are you two ready?"

The egos glanced at the beasts, who unleashed their Auras, encompassing their bodies completely with them to resist the ocean pressure.

"Rooaar!"

"Gaaoo!"

"Good, let's do this then!"

The trio of egos and the two beasts stepped out of the submarine as they saw it firing missiles against the approaching machines.

With their combined Auras, the three Egos and the two Primordial Beasts rushed forward, noticing the Fishmen and the Mermaid already engaging against the machine army of over five thousand guarding the mountains.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Underwater explosions continued to spread everywhere, shaking the oceans as shockwaves made the currents all crazy, yet the combined auras helped them get past these annoyances.

"They're here! Charge once they catch up with us! Lead the way where the mines are!" the Salmon Fishman Immortal Cultivator said.

"But where is that?!" The blue-haired Mermaid asked.

"The Venerable said that the Primordial Beasts would lead us where the Primordial Heavenly Stones are located!" the eel mermaid said. "We must follow them!"

The Egos quickly glanced at the primordial beasts while rushing alongside them.

"Can you tell where your meal is located?" Asked Transcendent Ego.

"We need you to find them quickly, or we'll end up dragging things out for too long!" Said the Yang Ego.

"Hurry up!" Uroboros screamed.

"…!"

The two Primordial Beasts were already doing that, their eyes quickly gazing to the east, rapidly feeling a strong aura of primordial energies over there.

The area was, coincidentally, already wrapped around a few mechanical roots, which seemed to have pierced through the stone…

It wasn't hard for anybody to guess that the mechanical tree must have found these ores much earlier and was absorbing their energies to feed its own energy requirements!

"ROOAARR!"

"GRAAOOH!"

The black wolf and the golden cat roared, rushing down and rapidly moving around the water, resembling two torpedoes made of golden and black crystals.
