Eli dropped Sarah off at the entrance of the building at exactly eleven o'clock. Sarah took a deep breath as she watched him drive away towards the parking lot, feeling nervous and excited about working with Silas.
She had spent the morning going through her old notebooks, finding lyrics she had written months ago when she was still with Diamond Sound Entertainment. The words felt different now, more meaningful after everything she had been through.
Thinking about it, she realized she had no regrets whatsoever leaving Diamond. The agency discarded whoever brought a hideous scandal that they had to spend lots of money to solve.
They deserved whatever happened to them.
When Sarah reached Zachary's office, she could hear laughter coming from inside. She knocked gently and walked in to find Silas and Zachary sitting across from each other, looking at some papers spread out on the desk.
