Chapter 768 - 768 My Hero Academia: The USJ is Destroyed, The Blood of Heroes, Amidst Utter Despair, Bakugo and Deku in Danger, and The Last Hope.

All For One possesses a vast number of Quirks, all of them stolen from their original users, and of course, each one had something that caught his interest—because in the end, the Demon King is selective about the Quirks he keeps.

– Hypertrophy: Enlarges an arm or a part of the body.

– Rivet: Generates protrusions like rivets on the arm.

– Kinetic Booster: Increases kinetic energy (he has four copies).

– Springlike Limbs: Coils the muscles to increase physical strength.

By combining those four Quirks, he was able to release enough power to pierce Superman's Invulnerability. Of course, the template was only at sixty percent, but even so, it was a feat that very few have achieved using nothing but physical strength.

....

*Kaboom*

The shockwave struck with the force of a meteor, releasing enough energy to tear trees from the ground, rip apart concrete, and demolish buildings.

"Everyone, get closer!"

The students of Class 1-A were in danger, but at the last moment, Thirteen used her other hand to absorb most of the shockwave, preventing them from being blown away.

Among them, several girls were on the verge of tears, believing Allen had been killed. However, they could do nothing but cling to the ground to avoid being dragged away by the shockwave.

The villains did not receive that protection and were sent flying by All For One's attack.

"...!" Shigaraki covered himself with his arms, bracing for impact, but he was lucky—Kurogiri appeared and protected him.

At the last moment, Deku ran toward Aizawa and shielded him with his own body.

'I'm sorry, All Might… I'm sorry, Allen-san… I couldn't help!'

"Allen!" Kaina screamed before being pushed several hundred meters away, cursing and swearing to kill All For One.

....

Once the storm faded, the devastating image of the aftermath became visible.

The maritime accident zone had been completely wiped out.

The urban fire zone had been extinguished, its buildings reduced to rubble.

The mountain replica designed to simulate landslides had vanished, blown apart into pieces.

Most importantly, the USJ's structure had been severely damaged.

This place, designed to withstand the use of Quirks inside it, now had shattered walls and damaged pillars. The massive dome-shaped roof had been blown away into the air.

The only area that still retained some structure was near the entrance, where Thirteen had done her best to protect the students.

As soon as Deku saw the result, he lost the ability to think. If an attack like this were carried out in the city, how many people would die?

How was it possible that such a powerful villain existed? How was it possible that no one had known about him all this time?

More than that...

Did this man really kill All Might and Allen?!

Deku shook his head. The priority was Aizawa. He tried to check on him, but when he saw the blood on his face, Deku froze.

He knew it, but he had never wanted to accept it. Deku knew that heroes died at the hands of villains. He knew this wasn't a comic where heroes always defeated criminals and returned home for their next adventure. He knew that in the real world, villains could win, and unless heroes were as strong as the top pros, many of them were not guaranteed to return after facing a villain.

The path of a hero is harsh—sometimes cruel, sometimes bloody.

"Allen?..." Momo stood up from the ground, wanting to go where Allen was, but she stumbled. A piece of rebar was lodged in her leg; however, she didn't care and continued dragging herself forward, refusing to accept the image burned into her mind of Allen being brutally beaten by All For One.

She wasn't the only one. The rest of the students—except Kirishima and Tetsutetsu—had some injuries, but thanks to Thirteen, they were minimal.

"Where is he?..." Toru stood up. There were a few drops of blood on the ground from a rock that had hit her forehead, but she didn't care. "Where is Allen?!"

She desperately searched for Allen everywhere, but she couldn't find him. There was only destruction.

"Damn it," Bakugo slammed his fist into the ground as he stood up.

"That was close..." Todoroki muttered.

Iida spat out blood and looked down, seeing that a metal rod was embedded in his abdomen.

"Iida-kun!" Koda rushed over to help him.

"Argh!" Kaminari screamed, his arm dislocated.

Is everyone alive?! Jiro covered her bleeding ears. At the last moment, she had used sonic waves to help withstand the impact, but it damaged her eardrums, and all she could hear was a ringing sound.

"Mina-san, are you okay?" Ibara asked with concern as she moved Mina, who was lying unconscious on the ground.

"What happened?" Itsuka was dazed. She surveyed the area while holding her head.

She had seen Aizawa fall, the villain regain his powers, and then… what?

"This is a lie, right? You can't die, right?!" Itsuka smiled desperately as a cold sensation ran through her body. There was something her mind was refusing to process.

"Sensei!" Ochako rushed toward Thirteen. The space hero had restrained a monster while protecting the students, leaving her unable to protect herself properly. As a result, her space suit was riddled with holes made by debris.

"Don't worry about me! Ugh! Run! Everyone has to run!"

Thirteen's scream snapped everyone back to reality.

"Don't think about anything else—just carry your injured classmates and escape!"

Everyone was left in shock. Escape? Is that really what a hero does?

"You two!" Thirteen turned to Kirishima and Tetsutetsu, who were still standing. "Don't just stand there! Do you remember what a hero's primary job is?! It's not defeating villains—it's protecting others!"

Feeling a chill run down his spine, Kirishima rushed over and lifted Aizawa.

"What are you doing, Midoriya?! Let's go!"

Tetsutetsu did the same with Mina. Shoji ran over to Iida and helped him. Everyone began to act.

However, there was someone who didn't.

"Run away?! Don't screw with me!" Bakugo, veins bulging, glared hatefully toward where the battle had taken place. "I haven't done anything yet! I still haven't surpassed you!"

All For One's voice, filled with a mix of calm and appreciation, came from the front.

"Wonderful..."

"...!" Upon hearing All For One's voice, Thirteen felt a chill run down her back.

"As expected of the Space Hero: Thirteen. Not only did you restrain the Nomu, but you also protected your students… truly incredible."

In an instant, three black bars with red lines pierced Thirteen's abdomen, shoulder, and leg.

"Argh!"

"Thirteen-san!" Ochako screamed.

"I-I'm fine..." Thirteen said. Despite her body being pierced, she kept her Quirk active—the Quirk that exerted the gravity of a black hole on the Nomu.

Seeing this, Ochako began to cry.

"Heroes are always like this... no matter the injuries, no matter the hardships, as long as their hearts don't break, as long as they don't lose hope, they always manage to stay standing. That's why they're so annoying, so unpleasant, so repulsive—but also so admirable..." All For One smiled. "But... I am an expert at breaking that hope..."

A fourth finger of All For One transformed and attacked—not Thirteen, but Ochako.

"The easiest way to break a hero is to eliminate the one they desperately protect!"

"Uraraka-san!" Momo shouted.

"Ochako-chan!" Without thinking, Tsuyu shot out her tongue to grab Ochako and save her, but she wasn't faster than All For One's Rivet Stab.

Ochako closed her eyes, but the pain never came. Instead, her cheek was splattered with something warm. When she opened her eyes, she fell to her knees, unable to believe what she was seeing.

"As expected, heroes always choose that option," All For One said.

Blood poured from Thirteen's chest as she shielded Ochako with her body.

"No!" Ochaco caught Thirteen's body as she vomited blood while agonizing.

That sight only brought more despair to everyone. At this moment, there was nothing but terror in their hearts. They weren't ready—this was not an enemy they were meant to face now. His cruelty and malice were immeasurable.

In their hearts, everyone redefined what a true villain was.

What true evil was.

"As expected of Sensei," Shigaraki said as he stepped out of one of Kurogiri's portals.

"Tomura-kun, well done with Aizawa."

Upon receiving praise from All For One, Shigaraki smiled sinisterly as he felt a kind of corrupt pleasure—like an addict finally receiving his dose.

"Thank you, sensei~"

"I'M NOT DYING YET—YOU DIE!"

Refusing to accept fate, Bakugo attacked All For One.

"You have admirable courage, but—"

"Shut up!" Bakugo attacked with both hands, creating a massive explosion in front of him.

Bakugo smiled nervously, his ego soaring. It had to be said—he had the guts to attack. However, when the smoke cleared, a jet-black humanoid creature appeared. It was the Nomu, now fully released.

"Get out of the way!" Bakugo tried to attack once more to push the Nomu aside, but his arm was caught by the creature, and with a light squeeze, it shattered.

"Ahhh!"

Bakugo screamed in pain.

"Kacchan!" Deku, feeling utterly miserable, stood up. He reached into one of his pockets and pulled out a paper talisman. This seal was the key Allen had given him to release the limiter on his Quirk.

What's the point of having One For All if I can't protect anyone?!

Deku tore the paper seal apart. Suddenly, his body was covered in kanji that spread across his skin down to his abdomen. Allen had sealed Deku's Quirk at ten percent, but in a moment of extreme danger, Deku was able to release that seal.

All For One widened his eyes in surprise, but soon smiled. I see… so you decided to pass on One For All.

Without realizing it, Deku had made a grave mistake by using One For All. But at that moment, all he could think about was helping Bakugo, who tried to free his arm with another explosion—yet failed to damage the Nomu.

The Nomu tightened its grip on Bakugo's broken arm, this time bending it even more painfully.

"Ahhh!"

"Let go of Kacchan!" Deku launched himself forward at great speed, but his leg couldn't withstand the power and broke. Ignoring the pain, Deku focused One For All into his arm.

'One For All—100%, Detroit Smash!'

Deku's punch slammed into the Nomu's face with devastating force, leaving all the students—and Shigaraki—stunned.

All For One merely watched in silence. Before learning about Allen, the Quirk that had obsessed him the most was One For All—the Quirk of All Might, the stockpiling power passed down from generation to generation of heroes. However, All For One did not show the same enthusiasm for it as he did for Allen's Quirk.

That was because One For All carried the will of its previous users, making it impossible to steal with its All For One.

"As always, every generation has its heroes..." All For One said in a neutral, almost indifferent voice. "But... do not confuse courage with strength."

"...!" Deku's eyes widened in shock. His now-broken fist was pressed against the Nomu's face, yet it had not been defeated—nor even injured.

'How is this possible?! A One For All punch at one hundred percent!! That's All Might's power!!'

Shigaraki sneered. "That creature is called Nomu. It's an artificial being created to kill All Might—it's the anti–Symbol of Peace!~"

Everyone's expressions fell even further. What were these people saying? It was already absurd enough to face the most terrifying villain imaginable—and now they were saying there was a monster on All Might's level here?!

"Impossible..." Tokoyami, who had remained silent while waiting for an opportunity to help, fell to his knees. Even someone like him couldn't endure the reality they were facing. There was no chance of survival.

"Haha, poor little chicks!~" Shigaraki mocked them again, enjoying their looks of despair.

Kurogiri, who appeared not far away, slowly shook his head.

"As expected, Tomura Shigaraki is still very inexperienced"

Kurogiri knew All For One well.

All For One often talked at length with his enemies, but it served a purpose. They weren't just words—he invaded his enemies' minds, disturbing their calm, provoking them, and even uncovering their weaknesses.

"It's unfair, isn't it?" Kurogiri murmured, feeling chills run through him from his own master.

Despite being absurdly strong, despite having more power than anyone else, this man used manipulative, insidious, unjust, and merciless methods—not only to injure his enemies physically, but to shatter their minds.

Shigaraki, on the other hand, liked mocking his enemies for the pleasure of watching them suffer.

In practice, it seemed the same, but the thoughts behind each villain were what defined a truly terrifying villain versus an arrogant cynic.

Kurogiri knew that Tomura Shigaraki would become All For One's successor—and his master in the future—but even so, he still considered him immature.

'Do they really think Eraser Head and Thirteen are alive by some miracle?' Kurogiri smiled. 'Master could have aimed for Thirteen's heart, but he didn't. Shigaraki could have destroyed Eraser Head's skull, but he didn't—by the master's order. Even now, the reason most of the students are still alive is the same reason he's letting them live. And the reason? Their Quirks.'

All For One observed the young heroes as if he were walking into a shop, evaluating which Quirks were worth taking. So far, Bakugo's, Todoroki's, and Momo's had caught his attention the most. To him, they were nothing more than resources.

"I suppose it's time..." All For One said, interrupting the moment. The Nomu lifted Bakugo and turned around, handing him over to All For One.

"You have an interesting Quirk, young man..."

Bakugo turned pale, fear gripping him. In another reality—where All For One was injured and unable to hold many Quirks—someone with Bakugo's personality might have been a target for corruption, a youth who could fall into darkness. But in this world, where All For One was uninjured, Bakugo was nothing more than a resource—a vessel containing a Quirk he desired.

That was how insignificant Katsuki Bakugo felt.

"Kacchan!" Deku shouted, but the pain in his arm and leg kept him from moving.

Just when everything seemed lost, the door behind them exploded.

*Boom*

"I'm sorry..."

The voice everyone had been waiting for—the one they all recognized—rang out, bringing tears to many eyes, along with smiles.

"I was waiting for you, old enemy," All For One smiled.

"All Might..." Deku gasped.

"I'm truly sorry, but don't worry—everything is fine now, BECAUSE I AM HERE!"

All Might's face, usually smiling, was now twisted with rage.

"ALL FOR ONE!"

The Symbol of Peace was furious.

Even so, All For One showed no nervousness, fear, or surprise—as if All Might's arrival had been part of his plan all along.

"You look tired, All Might" All For One smiled.

....

Meanwhile...

High above, far beyond the cloud level, a figure floated in silence. Contrary to all expectations, he was not on the brink of death. That silence was not a tragic end—it was a pause.

The rays of the sun pierced his body, recharging his cells, healing him, revitalizing him, and even strengthening him.

As the seconds passed, the silence broke, and his eyes slowly opened. And more than that—within his pupils shone a distinct light, revealing a massive amount of energy contained within him.

"I underestimated him, I admit it."
