Chapter 697 - 697 High School of The Dead: Shizuka's Passion and Kyoko's Jealousy, The Truth is Revealed, Going Out at Night, The Dark Park, and The Chilling Cry.

"Kyah!~"

Allen pressed Shizuka against the wall, their faces mere inches apart, their bodies even closer.

"A..." Shizuka gasped in surprise, her face flushing red.

"Shizuka. I know you're a sexy older-sister type who thinks she can toy with a younger guy's feelings, but you've picked the wrong target," Allen said.

"I..." Shizuka averted her gaze, unable to respond. Her breathing grew heavy, and her body trembled. She had never been this close to a man, mostly because Rika scared off the jerks who only wanted her body.

No wonder, Shizuka was too attractive—her peculiar personality, a mix of innocence and clumsiness, sparked a protective instinct in men while also stirring their desire, and her beauty and voluptuous body only multiplied her attractiveness.

Shizuka wasn't naive. She knew her provocative actions could be misinterpreted, yet she couldn't help herself. She felt comfortable around this young man, unaware of the danger in her teasing.

"I… I'm sorry," Shizuka stammered, her voice shaky, unable to handle such an intimate situation. "I think I went too far…"

"No."

Shizuka's eyes widened as she looked at Allen. What did he mean by "no"? Was he refusing her apology? Then what was she supposed to do—kneel?

Allen's intense gaze dropped to her lips.

"Wait, we're—" Shizuka swallowed hard.

Allen cut her off. "We're a single man and a single woman at the end of the world."

"B-but–" Shizuka froze, unable to come up with more excuses.

"You must understand that you cannot provoke me without consequences," he smiled mischievously.

Allen leaned closer as Shizuka grappled with indecision. She wanted to escape, to stop him, but she had provoked this situation, and her only real excuse was their age difference—which, in truth, wasn't that significant.

"Hmh❤️~" Shizuka's face burned with embarrassment.

There was fear of the unknown, the warmth and attraction she could no longer deny, and her surprising lack of resistance. 'Was I expecting this outcome?'

Their lips met tenderly, as if he were afraid of scaring her. Shizuka trembled, feeling a jolt like ten thousand volts coursing through her. Then her body softened, guided by instinct to wrap her arms around his neck.

As seconds passed, the kiss grew more intimate, passionate, and intense. Soon, their tongues intertwined, as if trying to consume each other.

Allen went beyond a kiss and grabbed Shizuka's large breasts causing her to let out an embarrassed moan.

She tried to speak, but Allen wouldn't let her, and soon simply agreed to let him do whatever he wanted.

'Ah, this is wrong❤️~' were Shizuka's final thoughts before she surrendered to desire and pleasure.

....

In the bathroom, there was a scene full of passion, and it would have been perfect if it weren't for the person trapped inside, who could only curse both of them.

Rika's bathroom was divided into two parts: the outer section, where the toilet, sink, and changing area were, and the inner section, where the bathtub and shower were located.

Kyoko had wanted to relax in the bathtub, taking a well-deserved break after going through hell, but she didn't know that Allen would walk in without checking if it was already occupied.

Just when Kyoko was about to speak, Shizuka gestured that she would handle it.

'I was a fool for trusting that blonde bitch!' Kyoko ground her teeth, glaring through the semi-transparent door at the two silhouettes intertwined. 'I should've suspected something when she came out without clothes, but I didn't expect her to do something this shameless! Marikawa-sensei, you always had such an innocent image, but underneath that hides a total slut!'

Kyoko didn't know what to do anymore—coming out now would be awkward, but staying here as a witness was something she didn't want either.

'No, I won't let her enjoy herself while I suffer!' Kyoko smiled wickedly.

She coughed and, with the most innocent voice she could fake, spoke up.

"Ah! I fell asleep! Huh?! Marikawa-sensei, is that you?!"

Her voice was loud and clear, with a touch of confusion and uncertainty. Both Allen and Shizuka froze.

"I forgot Kyoko–san was in the bathtub!" whispered Shizuka.

Allen thought for a moment about Kyoko's words, and immediately realized they were a lie. After all, many girls had used this same trick before to interrupt him out of jealousy.

"Then there's nothing we can do about it," Allen said, giving Shizuka a playful smack on the butt before letting her go.

"Ah..."

Shizuka stepped back, quickly grabbing a towel and escaping with a flushed face. Allen stayed silent for a moment, then looked toward the bathtub with a smile, as if he could see right through the door.

"Remember, staying too long in hot water can make you dizzy," he said before leaving the bathroom.

Kyoko's face showed both fear and embarrassment. She hadn't expected Allen to talk to her—did this young man have no shame?!

She sank into the tub for a moment before getting out and dressing quickly to avoid being attacked by any stray wolves.

....

Allen decided to eat before taking a bath, but the atmosphere in the dining room was tense—no one spoke.

Shizuka was too embarrassed and started drinking beer, avoiding Allen's eyes. Kyoko joined her, doing the same.

Rei was both embarrassed and depressed; she didn't know what to do or say.

Saya's expression, on the other hand, looked as if she wanted to devour Allen alive. As a genius, she had easily noticed the changes in Shizuka and Kyoko—it was obvious that this bastard had done something.

Saeko remained silent with her eyes closed, as if nothing had happened. That was to be expected from someone who had hidden her bloodthirsty nature for so long.

Dinner ended quietly, and then came the moment of truth.

Allen gathered all the girls in the living room. Even though they were both physically and emotionally exhausted, they knew this was something serious, so they all attended.

"I know you're all tired, so I won't take much of your time," Allen said seriously, standing before them. "I don't have to point out something this obvious, but I'll say it anyway: I'm not normal."

Upon hearing his words, the girls decided to set their feelings aside and listen carefully.

"My body is abnormally strong, my senses are sharper than those of any person, and I have no memory of my past in this world. I could be a government experiment, some kind of mutation, or even an alien." Allen smiled faintly. "Do we all agree on that?"

Rei stood up. "Don't say that! It's thanks to your strength that we're alive. I cannot express my gratitude enough!"

She had been helped by him even before the apocalypse, so her feelings of gratitude were even greater than the rest.

Shizuka smiled warmly. "Allen-kun, we know you're strong, but that doesn't scare us. We won't see you as a monster, if that's what worries you~"

"I'm just a weak woman who can't help you fight, but even so, you never abandoned me... So even if you're an alien, I can promise nothing will change" Kyoko said with a slightly embarrassed laugh. She didn't like remembering how useless she was in battle.

Saeko softened her gaze. "You're the man who defeated me. The fact that you're strong only makes me admire you more~"

"Hmph, even if you're from another world, you're still my rival!" Saya puffed her blushing cheeks.

Hearing the words of each girl, Allen couldn't help but smile. It felt like risking his life for them had been worth it.

"Thank you, but that's not what I meant," Allen said, extending his hand. A bottle of water appeared in his palm. "To put it simply, I can store objects in a separate space—something like a video game inventory."

"What?!" Kyoko exclaimed.

"But what?!" she repeated in disbelief.

Shizuka choked on her drink, and even Saeko broke her usual calm expression.

"Hehe, it's amazing, right?~"

Saya was the only one who didn't look surprised. She even lifted her chin proudly, as if showing off that she already knew.

"Wait, you knew about this?" Saeko narrowed her eyes coldly.

Saya flinched at first but then put on a smug look. "That's right, Busujima-senpai. I've known for a long time~"

Saya had no idea she was playing with fire right now, but Shizuka did—and she quickly stepped in.

"There must be a reason Allen told Saya–chan about it, right?" Shizuka gave Allen a soft smile, but behind it was a demon—something that, for a moment, reminded him of Unohana.

Rei pouted at Allen. "Why did you tell her only?"

"Did you not trust us?" Kyoko asked, visibly hurt.

"Girls, I just told you there's life in space, and you think who I told first is more important?" Allen didn't know how to react to this.

"It is!" all the girls shouted in unison.

These women weren't from a magical world or one filled with superpowers—they were from a reality where nothing supernatural had existed until a day ago. How could they even react like this?!

Allen coughed. "To be honest, I didn't plan to reveal it so easily. After all, this goes beyond just being strong or hiding weapons everywhere. But when I healed Saya, I had to show her—I hated doing it, but I had no choice."

"I see, so you had no choice~" Saeko gave Saya a look of disdain.

"Before you ask, no, I don't have any other powers. Well… actually, I lied. I do have one more. The truth is, I don't really remember where the weapons and supplies are—I have something that lets me sense where they might be, something like a radar."

The girls fell silent. What Allen was saying was completely surreal. If they hadn't just seen a bottle appear out of nowhere, they wouldn't have believed it.

"There's no point thinking about something you don't even understand yourself, right?" Saya said. At this point, they could only make wild guesses; it was better to accept it and wait to figure things out later.

"Allen-kun, why are you telling us this?" Shizuka asked. She was happy that Allen trusted her, but it was true they had only become close a day ago—wasn't it dangerous to reveal so many secrets?

"As you know, this power is very useful. I can store things like weapons, food, medicine—even Hayabusa—but it's not something I can use openly in front of everyone."

"That's why you gave me the flamethrower!" Kyoko exclaimed.

A weapon like that was invaluable, yet Allen had risked losing it just to keep this ability secret.

"Yeah. It's not that I don't trust the rest of the group, but as you know, there are people I barely know. Revealing too much could become a problem," Allen said with a smile. "That's why I chose to tell you all here—only you."

The girls blushed as they realized what Allen had just said—he basically trusted them more than anyone else.

"Hirano-kun and Isshii-kun will be sad..." Saeko said with a smile she couldn't hide.

"Maybe I'll tell them in the future," Allen said casually.

"That's true," Rei sighed. "You always seemed mysterious, but finding out you're some kind of Esper is ridiculous... So, are there still more secrets?"

Rei smiled; she knew Allen was also going to talk about "that".

"That's right, there's something else."

Allen told them about the supply crates, the shelters, and the shop. It left them speechless, and they all reached the same conclusion—some organization must be testing Allen, or maybe someone was helping him somehow.

This time, it was Saya who got angry for not knowing about it, while Rei and Saeko laughed at her.

[Host, it seems you weren't wrong—these girls are trustworthy. Though it's a shame you had to end the stream because you didn't make your harem put on proper clothes the entire time.]

'It's not my fault these girls, despite being Japanese, have no sense of shame,' Allen frowned. Maybe he should tease them a little so they'd learn not to provoke a healthy man like him.

The atmosphere lightened after Allen revealed so many secrets. It pushed aside the earlier emotional tension—at least for now. What happened next would depend on each girl's choice in the future.

....

The night deepened, and the girls went to sleep, leaving Allen and Saeko on the first night watch.

Both sat on the terrace, gazing at the moon. Allen still had his clothes on.

"Are you going out?" Saeko asked, glancing at Allen's profile.

"There are two supply crates nearby. I'd like to go pick them up."

"Can I go?"

Allen looked at the beautiful girl, "Saeko, you know you have to stay. You're the strongest, and only with you here can I be sure nothing will happen to them."

"Understood," Saeko replied without protest, which surprised Allen.

"You're not going to insist?"

"No. Since you've entrusted me with protecting the place you'll return to, I must live up to that trust — as a warrior and as a woman."

"I see."

Allen softened his gaze as he approached Saeko. This time, she didn't seem surprised. Instead, she closed her eyes in acceptance.

Ten minutes later, Allen jumped from the second floor and landed on the street below. There were several zombies nearby, but he decided to ignore them, controlling the weight of his steps to make them silent — a simple task for someone with his long martial training.

Saeko watched Allen calmly walk among the zombies. Just as Kyoko had said, surviving in this world wasn't difficult for him, and yet he chose to protect them and help them.

Saeko touched her lips before leaning against the window frame.

"Have a good trip."

....

"This is the place..." Allen murmured. "You're all watching, right?"

[Yes, I resumed the broadcast as soon as you left Rika Minami's house.]

"Understood."

Allen couldn't help but miss the bunch of bastards constantly making inappropriate comments in the chat, but there was nothing he could do about it. At least he could still feel their presence.

The minimap highlighted a golden point ahead — a park, silent yet ominous.

There was supposed to be at least one supply crate there.

Allen currently has two Tier 3 hearts and one Tier 2. He should have no problem opening a Tier 2 crate.

"Guess I was lucky that the deformed zombie counted as Tier 2."

The Charger was a very strong zombie, but not agile. Its attack consisted of charging forward like a bull. Compared to a Volatile, it was one step below.

As Allen entered the wooded area, he noticed bloodstains on the ground, benches, and even the lamp posts.

"There's no such thing as a safe place..." he muttered.

The minimap shifted, now displaying more details of the park. It had a playground with swings, a tennis court near the edge, and public restrooms. Apparently, the crate was inside the restrooms.

"No zombies around..."

The only sound accompanying Allen was the rustle of leaves in the night breeze. Anyone else would have been terrified to be here, but Allen showed not the slightest hint of fear in his eyes — though he didn't lower his guard. In this world, he could die.

*Crying*

Allen's eyes narrowed slightly. As he approached the public restrooms, he began hearing the muffled sobs of a woman.

"The cruelty of this world is enough to break anyone."

[Host, be careful. Madness can make a person dangerous — even an ordinary woman.]

"I know."

When he reached the restrooms, the sobbing became clearer, more distinct. Allen actually felt pity. He couldn't save everyone, but if it was within his power, he could at least take this woman with him — of course, only if she wanted to live. If she wished to die, he could grant that, too.

That thought vanished the moment he got close enough.

"...!" Allen was struck by a powerful smell of blood. The restroom walls were smeared with it — so much that the originally blue tiles were now deep red.

[Allen!]

"I know... but I have to go in."

Determined, Allen entered, drawing his combat knife. In tight spaces like this, it might even be better than his metal pipe.

The blood on the walls was still fresh, trickling down slowly — making the place even more disturbing.

A wave of danger hit him. Even without his spider-sense, his instincts were sharp enough to warn him.

Step by step, Allen moved deeper into the women's restroom. The door was broken, bearing a massive claw mark — bigger than any Volatile's.

When he peeked inside, he saw the source of the crying.

A woman sat on the floor, holding something wrapped in a Doraemon-patterned blanket in her arms.

Allen looked away for a moment. The apocalypse was cruel — it didn't matter how old someone was. Everyone was zombie food, including children and babies. It was a subject few dared to touch in zombie stories.

*Silence*

Allen snapped out of his thoughts when he realized the woman's sobbing had stopped. She began to rise — in utter silence. Not even her breathing was audible. Once on her feet, she turned around.

"...!" Allen's eyes widened.

The woman — or rather, the thing that used to be one—had a thin, almost skeletal body. Her pale, ashen skin stretched tight over her bones. Her long, gangly arms ended in sharp, claw-like fingers that glistened dark red, as if permanently stained with dried blood.

Her face, barely visible beneath her tangled, filthy hair, was a mask of eternal suffering. Her sunken eyes flickered with a feverish glow, while tears of blood streamed down her cheeks.

But what was most disturbing was her abdomen — torn open, exposing a hollow cavity where her organs should have been. In her arms, she held the small bundle wrapped in a blanket. From within it, before the horrified eyes of the Chat, a tiny, skinless hand reached out — drenched in red.

Many in the chat couldn't bear to keep watching and left the stream. Others stayed in silence, hearts heavy with sorrow. But some worried more about Allen — because this creature wasn't just a zombie.

"...!" Allen didn't hesitate. He drew his metal pipe and charged. This woman may have died in agony watching her unborn child torn from her body, but there was no time to think about that, his instincts screamed at him — he couldn't let this thing scream!

The pipe sliced through the air with a sharp whistle and struck the zombie's head brutally, sending her flying backward and dropping the bundle.

"Damn it!" Allen cursed. Despite using enough strength to split a normal zombie in half, he hadn't killed her.

The zombie moved and screamed. A piercing, bone-chilling scream.

SKREEEEE!

Allen regained his stance and rushed out of the restroom, dropping something behind him.

The moment he heard that scream, he knew something bad was coming — and his prediction came true.

The sound of footsteps filled the once-silent park. Bushes rustled violently. Even the night breeze was swallowed by a frenzy of bloodlust.

Dozens of zombies emerged from the darkness, all sprinting toward Allen like maniacs. Yes — sprinting, as fast as the first mutant zombie he'd ever encountered.

[You have to get out of there!]

"I don't think these bastards are gonna let me!"

Allen didn't hesitate — he holstered the knife, and a shotgun materialized in his right hand.

In this world, hesitation meant death.

Allen fired and two zombies exploded into chunks, but dozens more kept coming.

"Ahh!" Allen roared, swinging the metal pipe and smashing the head off the nearest zombie.

BOOM!

An explosion shook the area — but Allen wasn't surprised. He'd planted a mine at the entrance before going in.

"GAAHHHH!"

'It didn't die?!' Allen gritted his teeth, his eyes glowing red as he continued fighting the wave of mutant zombies.

....

Not far away, a man stumbled out of his car after crashing.

"Alice! Are you okay?!"

In his arms was his little girl, slowly opening her eyes.

"Daddy... what happened?"

"I'm sorry, sweetheart, we were hit by a truck..."

The man wept — he had almost lost his daughter. But the crash had drawn zombies. He carried his daughter in one arm and the mysterious suitcase in the other.

"We have to go, Alice!"

Despite the pain from his broken ribs, the man ran.
