Obinzawa?

Obinzawa was originally a region around Mount Hakkoda in Aomori Prefecture. About a hundred years ago, or more precisely, seventy-something years ago, it vanished without warning from the maps of Mount Hakkoda and became a wasteland, accompanied by numerous eerie rumors.
Information about this area now only exists in scattered records in local and Countermeasures Office materials and in the memories of some elders in the Mount Hakkoda region.
As for why the Obinzawa area became desolate in such a short period, Kamiyagawa is also aware—
It's because of a curse.
Over seventy years ago, all living creatures in Obinzawa were cursed to death by a specially made top-level cursed artifact known as the Kodorigo Box.
As for the Kodorigo Box that carried the curse, it later ended up in Kamiyagawa's hands and became the construction core of the Hannya Shrine.
