After I didn't see them anymore, I went back inside to check on Ellian, and she was still asleep. I went to my desk and sat down in the chair before continuing with my paperwork. After about two hours, she woke up, and she looked very shocked at the gifts. I chuckled at her, and she looked up at me. ´What is the meaning of this, Kevin??´ She asked me while she was sitting up. ´The Kingdom came to visit you, but you were asleep, so they left gifts for you, dear.´ I told her with a smile. I saw the shine in her eyes while he was looking through the bags. The gifts were nice and very creative. She looked down at the doll near her belly, and I knew that she had fallen in love with the doll. She picked up the doll and hugged it.
´Let´s put all the baby stuff in the baby room!'She said excitedly. I got up and picked up most of the bags. She ran a bit to the baby's room with the remaining bags. I smiled at her and chuckled a bit. Once we reached the baby´s room, she sat down in the rocking chair. I set the bags by the bed and went to sit down next to her. ´What should we name him?´ She suddenly asked me with sparkling eyes. ´What do you suggest?´ I asked her curiously. She thought for a while ´How about Nakoa? It means ´´warrior´´. ´ She said. I thought for a moment before nodding at the name. ´I want him to have a second name. That name I want my father's name to be.´ I added. ´What is the name?´ She asked me, and I smiled and leaned against a chair. ´Roscode,´ I answered her question. ´Nakoa Roscode... That sounds so nice together.´ She said. I glanced at her belly, and you could see a small bump. She is 3 months pregnant, and her pregnant belly looks so adorable. She slowly got up and walked out. I followed close behind her. ´Where are you doing?´ I asked her. ´I wanna go to the village. I wanna thank them all for the amazing gifts.´ She added. ´My love, it´s getting late, how about we go there after breakfast?´ I suggested, she stopped walking and nodded after turning to me.
We headed to the dining room for dinner. I still can't get the idea out of my mind that Gwen might be in danger. We sat down on our chairs and waited for dinner. The maids brought the food to us and placed it on the table. We thanked them for the dinner, and we also talked about some meetings. After dinner, we went back to our bedroom, changed into our PJs, and lay down on our bed. She lay with her back facing me, and I wrapped my arms around her belly and waist. I heard her giggle; her giggle made me smile. I placed my head on her neck, and I heard her breathing slow down, meaning that she was falling asleep. I found myself falling asleep too.
In the morning, I got up before Elliana and got quietly ready for the day. Once I was ready, I glanced over my shoulder to look at Elliana, who was still asleep. I went out of our bedroom and down to the tables. I got my horse ready and galloped away on my horse. I started to look around the kingdom for Gwen. But nothing so far. I stopped at the edge of my kingdom and the forest. I got off my horse and let it drink water from the river. I sat down on the grass next to my horse. I rested my head on my knees and just stared at the sky. It felt good to relax. After a few minutes, I stood up and returned to the castle on my horse.
Gwen´s POV
It´s been about 4 weeks since I ran off with Cornelius; he never left my side. I found out that I have a baby girl. I couldn't be more excited. Cornelius started to decorate the bedroom next to mine. He is now painting the walls. I never knew that he was such a good painter. He asked me about the theme of the nursery. ´Ocean-themed nursery,´ I told him with a soft smile. I always loved to look at the ocean. It calmed me down, and I got up to look at how far he had progressed with the painting. I saw a lot of ocean creatures, and the ceiling was amazingly painted in ocean colors. He stopped and looked over at me. ´What do you think of it?´ He asked me. I couldn't say anything but walk up to him and kiss his cheek as a thank you. He smiled softly before continuing to paint.
