"So, you climbed in through the window?"
Ming Ge raised her small face in Gong Yeyan's arms. The room was not lit, and hearing the commotion outside the window, she had rushed to the balcony immediately, forgetting to turn on the light. Now the bedroom was only left with a faint, cold white moonlight that seeped through the floor-to-ceiling window, like scattered stars glittering in her eyes, dazzling and captivating.
The two of them were very close, even though the bedroom was dimly lit, Gong Yeyan could see the slight upward curve of her lips. He rested his forehead gently against hers, their breaths entwined, and softly asked, "Are you happy?"
"Of course I'm happy," Ming Ge was completely unafraid of the hint of danger concealed in his tone. She earnestly nodded, her brows and eyes curving warmly as she said, "I guess President Gong has never done anything so outrageous from childhood till now, but tonight you made an exception for me... it's my honor."
