Just as he said they just cuddled
Lena woke up early to go to work she kissed his forehead when she was done and he was still sleeping. She left a note beside him
"Good morning, I made you breakfast and I didn't want to wake you up. Eat before you leave and I have a spare key, I will get the other one next time we meet. I love you"
When he woke up he realized she was not around
"Uhhh I have never slept this peacefully" he said and found the note
He hugged the pillow beside him and said
"I love you so much Lena"
He got out of bed
"Good morning Lena's mom and dad, you see I kept my promise, I will take care of your daughter. I feel alive when she's happy, I love your daughter so much" he said and got out of the room, he ate and called Lena
"When will you close from work?"
"I might come home a little late" she said
She did came home late but when she came he was still there
"What are you still doing here"
"I took a shower and then I felt so comfortable that I decided to stay"
"What?!!"
"I am just kidding, you said you would arrive late and I just wanted to return the breakfast you made for me so I cooked, eat"
She sat down and ate, they talked for a while
"It's getting really late and I need to go" he said, she escorted him out and he kissed her before going home
Immediately he got home he called her
"I miss you already" he said, they talked for a while and he hung up
"Oh I am back home!! Just a day outside of this place and I felt alive or maybe it's not the place but the memories and the people around, this place always suffocates me" he said as he looked around his house
The next day he called her and she was working, he really missed her
"Have you closed?" He texted
"Yh I am heading home"
"Then meet me at the park"
They met there and he couldn't take his hands off her, he loved kissing her. They talked for a while before he took her home
The next day she went to work and he couldn't sit idle so wanted to surprise her at work
"She said she works in the coffee shop in the morning" he remembered and went there but he regretted going there, she was doing most of the work, he saw from afar how tired she was, he watched her throughout the morning and followed her as she headed to the grocery store to work, he remembered his past and didn't like it
"Is she not going to take a break"
It was time for her to close and she went to the bar
"Lena you look stressed out"
"Don't worry Mr Jonas, I am just a little sleepy but I will sleep at home"
She got off work and her whole body hurt, she took a bus home, on her route home she called Aidan
"Hey are you okay?"
"Yeah why?"
" I haven't heard from you"
"I didn't want to bother you although I miss you, you have work to do and you seem tired, get some rest and let's talk tomorrow I love you" he said and hung up
She reached her front door, squatted down and started crying
"My body hurts" she cried
Someone wanted to console her but stopped in his track and just stared at her
"How much are you keeping inside, it's your turn to let it all out" Aidan said
He called her again
"Why did you call again"
"Are you ok"
"Yes I am"
"I love you, I love you, I love you" he kept on saying
"Hey what's wrong?" She got up from the floor and asked
"At least you stopped crying" he thought
"Nothing I just want you to know I love you and no matter how many times I say it I think it will never be enough, I hope you smile every day, even when things get tough don't be sad and think of me and how much I love you and how I will come rushing to you when something makes you cry just to wipe that tears and make you smile, I fell in love with your eyes and I always want to see happiness in them, Lena when things get tough, let me be your Superman. I love you so much" he said and she laughed and he felt relieved
"At least this will take your mind off the things that makes you sad" he thought
"Stop making me blush"
"Blush harder because I truly love you so much"
"Stop it"
"Don't you love me too?"
"I do"
"Bye" she said
"No! I haven't seen you for the whole day, I miss you tell me about you day, what you're doing, everything"
She got inside and she told him everything leaving the sad versions, she talked with him for hours till he realized she had fallen asleep, he went home too and slept
Lena woke up early for work, she was feeling great, she thought her comfort unlike yesterday was going to be her pillow and her tears but he accompanied her
Ever since that day he called her every night to accompany her to sleep, he didn't want her remembering her dark hours during the night when she's all alone he knows how it goes and feels and didn't want her to go through that
