The bronze compass with gray-green rust floated mid-air, the curved magnetic spoon creaking as it turned on the smooth disc, the handle seeming as if it had been burned through by charcoal, revealing a dark red glow that twisted the air in wisps.
Before the handle lay an endless stretch of white mist, which was the greatest incarnation allowing the Mist Ship to traverse the seas and roam through time and space. This was also one of the reasons it was called the 'Mist Ship.'
It was said that these mists were treasures extracted from the river of time by the demon giant towering above the four sea monster captains, known as the 'King of Sea Demons,' and infused into the Mist Ship.
Since the 'water' from the temporal river inherently carried some essence of cosmic light, these mists also possessed certain mysterious magical effects.
