Chapter 42 - Chapter 42: First Entry into the Magical World

If that doesn't work, just drop a World Peace Bomb.

Pirate Lan Luo replied, "It might take a few months to build a new ship. I also want to get my hands on the Magnet-Magnet Fruit and the Ope-Ope no Mi. Most importantly, I need to figure out how to resolve the conflict of multiple Devil Fruit abilities. Are there any soul-type abilities? I can't destroy them; it would be best if I could just control their souls to enter another Devil Fruit."

Marvel Lan Luo said, "Your research is very valuable. Astral projection still requires going to Kamar-Taj. I've also been a bit busy lately and need some time."

Hokage Lan Luo then added, "Busy rolling around in bed with Helen Zhao? Get serious, you bastard!"

Wizard World Lan Luo said, "My body isn't even an adult yet. Why do I have to hear all this?"

Marvel Lan Luo said, "Just tell me if you want the Life Cradle Technology or not."

Pirate Lan Luo thought for a moment, "Are you sure you two can manage without Tony's AI and Bruce Banner's research?"

Marvel Lan Luo could only say, "Ahem, let's not be so blunt. It's not good for any of us."

Hokage World Lan Luo said, "How come I haven't seen you going near the Extremis Virus lately? Our Millennial Dragon research is also about to start."

Wizard World Lan Luo said, "I'll try to con some Phoenix blood and feathers from old Dumbledore."

Pirate World Lan Luo continued, "You look for a method of Voldemort's soul-splitting in the Restricted Section, and I can start the plan. I feel that the Wizarding World has great development potential; they just haven't tapped into it."

Hokage World Lan Luo also said, "Yes, the philosophers stone allowed Nicolas Flamel to live for 600 years, and ravenclaws diadem was enchanted to enhance the wearer's wisdom. Also, if magical cars can fly, then flying castles should be feasible, right? After wandless magic, can we use wands to amplify magic output?"

"I will study hard and then surpass them. I also want to make a magical watch, one with a projector, and clothes with self-cleaning charms, invisibility cloak runes, and shield charms," Wizard Lan Luo said, full of anticipation for magic.

Pirate World Lan Luo said, "Alright, get the information organized and sent to me as soon as possible. I'm logging off now."

At the same time, Wizard World Lan Luo was looking at the giant Rubeus Hagrid in front of him, and a thin, bespectacled boy behind him. Rubeus Hagrid looked at the little boy with black hair, delicate features, and a gentle demeanor, and spoke first: "Good morning, Mr. Lan Luo Thomas. I am Rubeus Hagrid from Hogwarts. I'm here to take you to Diagon Alley to buy your school books and supplies."

Lan Luo, not being a stranger, said, "Please wait a moment, I'll just tell the headmistress."

Not long after, Lan Luo brought the orphanage's headmistress to meet Rubeus Hagrid: "Oh my goodness, so there really are giants in this world! I can't believe everything in the admission letter is true."

Rubeus Hagrid then spoke, "I apologize for the trouble, madam. We need to take Mr. Lan Luo Thomas to purchase his school supplies."

The headmistress, now realizing it wasn't a trick, felt relieved: "Of course, Mr. Giant." She then looked at Lan Luo with reluctance. This child had been very disciplined since he was young, doing his own things well, but he didn't really like to socialize with others.

At this moment, Lan Luo walked out with his backpack and said to the headmistress, "Thank you for your guidance all these years." He then bowed to her.

The headmistress shed tears, "It's alright, child. Study hard at school, and you can come back anytime if you miss the headmistress." She even straightened Lan Luo's collar.

Lan Luo knew that once he left, he might not return to the orphanage. However, he could send some money back anonymously. Before understanding this world, he didn't dare to create things with his Dojutsu, but it would be different once he was at the academy.

Leaving the orphanage, Lan Luo proactively went up to Harry and greeted him, "Hello, I'm Lan Luo Thomas. You can call me Lan Luo."

Harry shyly replied, "Hello, I'm Harry Potter. You can call me Harry." He then extended his hand for a handshake. Sometimes, two people of similar age just get along that easily.

Lan Luo then said, "I saw you from afar once. Your cousin was beaten up by the children at our orphanage."

Harry said somewhat embarrassed, "Sorry, Lan Luo, I'm not like my cousin."

Lan Luo said with a laugh, "It's alright, Harry. Remember, it was your cousin who got beaten."

Hagrid then said, "Alright, children, get on my motorbike. If we're going to Diagon Alley, we need to go to the Leaky Cauldron first."

The two quickly got on the motorbike, and not long after, the group arrived at a dirty, cramped pub on a London street. As Hagrid entered, he heard Tom, the pub owner, greet him like an old friend. It was clear Hagrid was a regular here.

After greeting Tom, Hagrid introduced them, "This is Harry Potter, and this is Lan Luo Thomas. They are both Little Wizards going to Hogwarts."

Lan Luo observed the worn-out tables and chairs, and some Witches and Wizards in the pub: Doris Crockford, Dedalus Diggle, and Quirinus Quirrell. When they saw Harry appear, they all came forward to shake his hand.

Harry still seemed out of place in the Wizarding World, clearly having only just accepted the reality of a world with magic.

After a short while, Hagrid led Harry and Lan Luo past the Leaky Cauldron's bar and into a small, walled courtyard. On the surface, there was nothing there but a rubbish bin and some weeds, but the brick above the rubbish bin was a passage into Diagon Alley; it was through here that they entered the Wizarding World. All one had to do was count three bricks up from the rubbish bin's wall—then two bricks across—and tap the wall three times with a wand. That brick would then tremble and a small hole would appear, eventually forming an archway leading to Diagon Alley.

They saw shops selling various magical items, but Hagrid led them to a towering white building.

It read 'Gringotts Wizarding Bank'. The first door of Gringotts was a shiny bronze door, guarded by goblins in scarlet and gold uniforms who bowed to customers upon their arrival.

The second door was silver, with the following inscription: 'Enter, stranger, but take heed, Of what awaits the sin of greed, For those who take, but do not earn, Must pay most dearly in their turn. So if you seek beneath our floors, A treasure that was never yours, Thief, you have been warned, beware, Of finding more than treasure there.'

Passing through the second silver door, they entered a spacious marble hall, where about a hundred goblins sat behind long counters, hastily recording entries in large ledgers. Some weighed coins with scales, others examined jewels with lorgnettes.

Hagrid was the first to speak, "Each Little Wizard has an annual allowance of 70 galleons that can be exchanged at this counter."

Lan Luo proactively exchanged 70 pounds for 70 galleons. Hagrid would then take Harry to his parents' vault to withdraw galleons. Lan Luo knew that Harry was a rich man in the Wizarding World but poor in the Muggle world, so he proactively approached Harry, avoiding Hagrid, and said, "Harry, withdraw some extra galleons later, and I'll exchange them with you. That way, you'll have money to use in the Muggle world too."

Harry didn't say anything, just gave Lan Luo an OK gesture.
