Nell Harris suddenly stood up and turned to look at the entrance.
Outside, the sky remained overcast, the rain hadn't stopped, the lamp in the living room was on, and Dylan Young's silhouette stood at the entrance, lonely yet clear.
She saw Dylan completely drenched, his face covered in rainwater, droplets streaming down his face, and a puddle of water had formed on the ground beneath his feet.
His eyes seemed washed clean by the rainwater, black and strikingly bright, and he stared at Nell without moving.
At the moment Nell saw him, the heart stuck in her throat eased a little; he was finally back, he hadn't left.
She quickly picked up the blanket she had covered herself with and walked over briskly: "It's pouring rain outside, where did you go without even taking an umbrella? You've been in the rain for so long, do you want to catch a cold? Do you know... um..."
