Dylan Young curled the corner of his mouth: "I'm a man, when I'm out, I can't let a woman pay. Don't fuss over these small things, get in the car."
He opened the car door, letting Nell Harris in, and then carefully handed Scarlett Glenn to her.
He said, "You guys wait for me for a bit, I'll be right back."
Dylan Young turned and ran off; he was tall, and with his long legs, he quickly ran very far.
Scarlett Glenn turned her head and asked, "Mum, what's Uncle Young going to do?"
"Mum doesn't know either, Scarlett... Do you like Uncle Young?"
"I do, I think Uncle Young is especially nice." After Scarlett said this, she seriously nodded her head.
Nell Harris smiled, kissed her forehead. Indeed, especially nice; by comparison, Arnold Glenn couldn't even match a strand of his hair.
Scarlett asked, "Mum, can Uncle Young really protect us?"
"Probably."
