Isn't she just an ordinary countryside woman?
Arnold Glenn shouted, "Shut up, you have no place to speak here."
Ruka Glenn clenched her teeth and shut her mouth, not daring to speak. She was still counting on Arnold Glenn to take her to the city to enjoy life.
Scarlett Glenn peeked out from behind Nell Harris, making a face at Ruka Glenn.
Then she looked up, her face innocent, and asked, "Mum, is there any difference between being kicked out of the Glenn Family and our current life?"
Nell Harris crouched down and said, "Yes, it'll be better than this."
Scarlett immediately said, "Dad, then let Mum and me be kicked out."
Arnold Glenn felt as if his teeth were about to grind to bits. He didn't know if Scarlett truly didn't understand or was deliberately provoking him. He suppressed his anger and tried to appear approachable: "Scarlett, don't you want a Dad?"
Scarlett tilted her head and said, "But I don't have a Dad. Except for today, I haven't seen Dad."
