The County Town of the 1990s was still quite backward, but for Scarlett Glenn, this was the biggest and most luxurious place she had seen since she was born.
She felt like her eyes weren't enough; she had never seen such a beautiful place.
Getting off the car, walking on the Main Road, she excitedly said, "Mum, this place is really nice, really clean."
Nell Harris asked, "If Mum brought you to live here, would you be happy?"

For her daughter, she had to be strong; she could give her daughter a good life without relying on anyone.
She asked someone where the Pawn Shop was, and with Scarlett Glenn, she walked over.
They didn't have a car, so they had to walk slowly, resting periodically.
Finally, they arrived at the Pawn Shop. The boss didn't look down upon them because of their worn clothes, and smiled as he asked, "May I ask, do you have something to pawn?"
