The young man didn't leave immediately. He stayed in the shop for a while, not seeing anything particularly good. Meanwhile, the boss had the money ready. Nell Harris saw the stacks of money and her nervous hands trembled. She carefully counted the money, confirmed there were no counterfeit bills and the amount was correct, and only then did she leave.
Once outside, Nell Harris bowed to the young man, "Thank you, really, thank you. If it weren't for you, I might have sold to the boss for the price of 2,000 today."
"Scarlett, come thank your brother."
Scarlett looked up and said in her soft voice, "Thank you, Brother."
The young man patted the top of Scarlett's head, "No need to thank me. I just couldn't stand the boss bullying others."
"You're alone with a child, carrying so much money, it might not be safe. Why don't you first deposit it in the bank? There's one not far from here. You can open an account first. Oh, do you have your ID card with you?"
