"Ella, pardon me for asking again, are you and the Dream Guy Xiu in a superior-subordinate relationship now?" Nella Crassus asked boldly, knowing that Isabella Lindsey wasn't the kind of person to be petty. They could discuss any issue openly.
"Yeah, he's the Team Leader, and I'm the secretary." Isabella clarified in detail.
"Wow, your relationship is so ambiguous..."
Nella started daydreaming a bit but knew not to overdo the teasing. She didn't want to make Isabella uncomfortable, so she happily dragged her to the restaurant. Pointing at the five dishes and soup, she chuckled, "It's quite sumptuous, right? These are the fruits of my day's labor, to celebrate your promotion!"
"Thank you, Nella."
Under her pull, Isabella sat down.
The two of them ate while drinking a few glasses of red wine, blending with the deepening night outside the floor-to-ceiling window.
There was quite a mood.
