Today is Laura Waltson's discharge day, and except for Arthur Lindsey, almost all the family members have come.
The private hospital ward suddenly feels a little crowded.
Laura packs her things gratefully and says, "Thank you, Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt and Cherline, for coming to bring me home. I'm really sorry to trouble so many of you."
"It's not just us." Penny Sullivan smiles, holding her hand.
She hides her thoughts well, as if nothing has ever happened.
"Who else?"
Laura feigns surprise, "Wouldn't it be Uncle as well? He's such a busy person..."
"Haha, Laura is really clever."
Penny treats her as warmly as always, without playing guessing games, directly denying, "Not your uncle."
"Then who is it?"
Laura opens her eyes wide, pretending to be puzzled, "I don't know who it is then."
Seeing her innocent look, if it weren't for Penny being aware of her past wrongdoings, she might still be deceived by Laura.
