Arthur Lindsey, protective of his daughter, suddenly softened his gaze, "After all, you're a girl. To let you venture repeatedly, I'm reluctant. Tell your dad, who is that person?"
"I can."
Cherline Lindsey spoke only three words but with force that resonated unmistakably.
"Cherline, I know you can, but you must put your safety first. I don't want anything to happen to you."
Arthur Lindsey said coolly yet solemnly, "Now that you've seen the person behind the crime, you may not be aware of how many accomplices they truly have, so there's still certain risk."
"I know." Cherline remained calm as always.

Silence hung in the air for a few seconds.
Arthur Lindsey stood with his hands in his pockets, leaning against the large floor-to-ceiling window, as the afternoon sunlight refracted, casting a faint mischievous and enchanting glow over his sharp suit.
