For the first time, she mustered up her courage and ran up to him, "Daniel!"
The boy stopped in his tracks as she intercepted him. He stood still, cold and stern, watching her flailing about. His sharp brows furrowed slightly, and he indifferently uttered a few words, "Who are you?"
"I'm Clarissa Lindsey, your classmate at school! Don't tell me you don't recognize me?"
Little Clarissa smiled innocently, "Daniel, did you skip class today too? Are you here for some fun?"
"I don't remember you," Daniel replied stiffly.
He refused to answer any other questions.
