A little milk bun, looking indifferent, stood at the door.
Chuckling in good spirits, she taunted them, "So, you eloping lovebirds, you've finally come back?"
"Little mosquito baby!"
Ella Lacey hurried over, squatted down, and hugged her affectionately, feigning shyness, "Mommy was kidnapped by him, it certainly wasn't elopement. And, Mommy missed you so much, whine whine whine..."
"Missing the man by your side seems more realistic." The little milk bun was evidently used to days without her ditzy mommy around.
Ella Lacey was thrilled to discover that, after some days, her daughter had grown taller again; kneeling down, she was completely outshone by the little mosquito.
Standing on her tiptoes, she leaned in to kiss her baby's cheek, giggling, "Heehee, Mommy really missed you so much, the things at home can testify to that."
In the meantime,
A tall figure overshadowed her from behind, casting a handsome silhouette.
