The investigation is slowly progressing as they are now moving in a new direction, the human realm. But things can't be taken too lightly due to its secret nature. A long absence of Nirav and Adhyant or their sudden visit to the human realm can startle the snake; to hide for so long in all this ruckus won't be a simple person. It took him three days to come up with a story and to make his human world visit look legitimate. Bhavin helped behind the scenes and Asav ordered the work.
It has been three years since Aadrika and Nilay are stationed at Amidah. She renovated the fallen temple and started a self-help school near the temple. Orphans and poor students started learning and they were also taught handcrafts to sustain an income. At first, the priests in the temple started tutoring and later some retired kind-hearted joined the venture. What started as a small thought with 20 children has now more than 200 children and new branches have been started near the city circle. Helping the temple and school also became a mark among the nobles in showing their generosity and wealth. Thus it got many donations which further helped the growth.
By these three years, the image of a sleek young lady with a basket in her back became a synonym for kindness in the capital city of Amidah. Her seemingly red cat became her symbol and token.
"Master..." Nir softly caressed her hair with his small paw;
"Hmm..." She answered him softly lying on her rock chair.
"Master, it's been three years since we were at Amidah. Since the last year, you are slowly handing out responsibilities to others. I can see... we are preparing to live... aren't we?"
"Nilay... We will leave by the end of this year."
"hmm.." There was a tint of lingering melancholy in his answer.
"Ayahh.. Nilay, don't worry about the children. I have arranged some of our Night realm spies in the capital to check out the school."
"But... Master this will be probably the last time we see these children. Time flows differently here. By the time we visit them next, they would probably be in the reincarnation cycle."
Nir turned his head swiftly, "Master, someone is coming.."

"Thanks to the grace of the king." She replied taking the order from the eunuch.
"Lady, the king wishes to meet you and have a conversation. Please come with us." The eunuch told her.

"Sure." She took her basket and went with them.
A golden feather flew to the earth and was followed by Adhyant and Nirav. It paused before a huge gate. They stopped and looked at the gates of the capital city Amidah.
